    Delusional

    Connoisseur of Hallucinations
Alright, cool. Thanks, Vak. I'm thinking my character will be one of the more powerful merchants within the city, whose trade and profit is being extremely threatened by the Qashani. Though, I'm still debating about having him be a lesser noble who is a very high profile target for the Qashani...

Victor always keeps throwing knifes on him, useful for takign down targets at a distance.
    History/Biography
Victor is the son of an extremely rich merchant couple in Starpond. At the age of 7 his mother gave birth to Victor's sister, Elizabeth. Exactly one month after her birth, Victor's mother died of illness, leaving him and his sister alone with her father. As Victor's father was getting old, he had sent his son to train under a private ex knight. He learned to fight, spending most of his days training from such a young age, Victor became fierce in battle. The ex knight was also a high ranked spy under the council, so he teached Victor how to act stealthily as well.

Time flew by and at the age of 21, he was already a trained man, ready to take out most battle encounters. At that very age, the Qashani attacked the Nightsong family, killing Victors Father and the Ex knight who trained Victor. Victor fought, and at that point he thought himself unkillable, however he discovered that numbers can overwhelm. As he was laying on the ground next to his father's killers, he begged them to spare his sister, the only thing he had left. The assassins aggreed, as long as both Elizabeth and Victor joined the Qashani. He started taking contracts, and he took no joy in most of them. He felt that he delivered justice only when he killed corrupt politicians and the like, however he often ended up killing harmless merchants. Due to his training, Victor easily became an elite assassin. When he was nearly 23, he couldn't take killing innocents anymore, and so he talked to his sister about leaving the Qashani, and look for a better life, away from Starpond. His sister, however, didn't turned out the way Victor did. She enjoyed killing and the smell of gold, and so she turned her own brother in for trying to leave. Victor engagaged in battle multiple times, by large groups of assassins, getting close to loosing his life. He went in hiding, as he clearly couldn't take the Qashani on his own. Victor gear would make him seem like one of the Qashani, and so he could take assassins by surprise, when they were fighting merchants. Victor kept saving as many as he could in the past two years, yet his efforts weren't nearly enaugh. He needs to bring his sister to sense, and take down the Qashani once and for all, and he would do anything to make that dream come true.

So to clear things up, I made this charracter with a side plot in mind, that on one of the encounters he meets his sister and is forced to fight her, even if that goes against his philosophy. As I can't read minds, I have no idea of how EpicV thinks the Qashani look, fight, and what equipment do they have, so if you have anything to change, I'd be more then happy to do so.

    Sid

    The fairly crap Pokémon trainer....
Sounds good, can I join with my Dark Elf Assassin:

    Name: Enarvy
    Age: 29
    Race: Dark Elf
Marital Status: Un-married, not in a relationship
Occupation: Mercenary-Assassin Thing (Basically Deathstroke's Occupation), Lord Harlon Greycastle's Housecarl, Thane, Adviser, Bodyguard and Close Friend
Personality: Recluse confiding in few people his deepest and darkest secrets. He trusts few people and is hard to trust himself. He is calm most of the time, yet can be quick to anger, and can hold grudges for long times. He is also very honorable and normally does the right thing. He is also a tactical and political genius and thinks most encounters through at least three times before engaging in combat. He also has a very high honour, so much that if an enemy surrenders he will leave them or take them to the authorities. So much so he left one opponent who had feigned injury, got up and stabbed him in the back.
Appearance: He has long unkempt black hear, which he lets freely flow. He has no facial hair (Except for thin eyebrows). He has a dark blue tattoo of an entwining rope, which shows the order he was raised up in, running up the right side of his neck and into the lower right side of his face. He has deep crimson eyes, with a thin crooked nose and a small lips. He has a relatively high cheekbone and jaw. He is 6'6", and has a wiry yet well muscled frame. He wears a loose, clean miner's shirt with small bits of black Chitin Armour attached to it. On his legs he wears dark trousers with Chitin Plates on the knees. He wears Chitin Boots and a Chitin variation of Thieves Guild gauntlets.
Fighting style: He wields Katanas, Dai-Katanas, Wakazashis, Tantos, Staves and Throwing Darts (Basically most feudal Japan weapons in the Elder Scrolls except throwing stars). He was trained to take on many men, up to 15 in a single encounter. He is very agile and quick, and can take on many assailants. He is also an expert free runner and employs theatricality and deception as arts in combat. However due to his lack of armour he tends to get hurt a lot with injuries ranging from bruises to gashes to broken bones.
Likes: Honour, Cooking, Alchemy, Tranquility, Sharp Objects, Meditating
Dislikes: Dishonour, Intoxicating Self, Arrogance, Loud and Brash Behaviour
Fears: Breaking an oath, losing one of his few friends, being left helpless
Biography: Raised by an Order of Monks (Like Shaolin Monks) hidden away in the deep thick jungle on the edge of the Great Desert. Here he was trained to fight, assassinate and escape as well as many other arts. At the age of 18 he was sent off into the world to fulfill his oath to stop injustice however he could. His journey took him to Starpond, where the Lord Harlon Greycastle saved his life. He promised to serve the Lord for 50 years, however he could, and if he was made to do something disobeying his original oath he would be forced to kill the Lord once the promise was fulfilled. Since then he has risen to be the Lord's Housecarl, Thane, Adviser and Close Friend.

    MagicBlade

    Instinctive
    Allright

    Name: Gilan
    Race: Nord
    Age: Approximately 35
    Occupation: Mercenary
    Born in: Whiterun

Appearance: Not the tallest man, but around 6'0, with broad shoulders from years and years in swordsmanship and archery training. His shoulder-length blonde hair, and a goatee. He wears a brown leather chest plate with a black cloak over the top.

Weapons: His standard weapons are his longbow, which is held on his back and Longsword which is also held on his back. He also has a small dagger on his belt

Personality: He is a quiet, serious man with few words. He speaks with arrows and blades. He has a dry sense of humour and you will find it very hard to earn his trust, and if you lose it, impossible to get back

    Back Story:
As a child Gilan was rebellious and didn't like living under his noble father, who forced him into a life of unnecessary
paperwork and sitting around in keeps and Halls doing nothing. Then he met one of his fathers best servants, Ranger Halt, a master of bow and sword. They had a close relationship and Halt taught him with the weapons he uses at night in the woods. Halt saw Gilans potential, and once more, their friendship was very close and they trusted each other. When Halt approached Gilans father, Phillip, Phil almost killed Halt by throwing a candelabra on him. Gilan, in a rage, shot his father through the thigh, giving him a permanent limp. He stole away afterwards and came across Starpond during his travels, and in his age he decided he may settle here.

More reviled IC but I can give you a sample of RP if you like?

    Seanu Reaves

How about Rangar is hired by Delu's merchant? Because making him a knight changes how he would be by a wide margin. But making him a traveling mercenary-type due to circumstance of trying to find a really hard quarry then he gets caught up within the conflict?

Sid and MagicBlade; you both seem to have misunderstood the background. There is no Whiterun, no Valenwood. This world is entirely different to Nirn; it follows all the rules of Elder Scrolls with none of the backstory or places. Basically, Starpond is in an alternate universe where Nirn isn't Nirn as we know it.

Skies, that's a good idea. So long as Delusional's okay with it, sounds good!

    That means im in :D?

Yes, but you'll have to change your backstory. I didn't originally plan for the Qashani to be old enough to have trained boys into men, and if they were that old, the city would already have starved to death. Sorry to cause so much trouble, but it just doesn't fit in.

    HISTORY
CHILDHOOD The bastard daughter of a lesser noble, Lilith had no right to claim her father's name and so had no surname. She was simply Lilith, and was bullied for it. Her father was distant, her mother was some poorly-paid whore that was killed upon Lilith's birth. As such, her life was extremely difficult as a child, and she only had her father's stewards to turn to for friendship.
And life got no better for Lilith. When she was nine, her father died of a pox, and his entire household was made redundant. Lilith was made homeless, and was forced to steal from the bullies to get by, learning how to fight reasonably well and even learning to use a sword, after a blacksmith tried to have her hanged and she killed him with his own wares.
TEENAGE YEARS Once Lilith began to grow into a woman, she found it much easier to get food; mainly because her looks could make the quietest of men gasp aloud. She took advantage of this; to start with, because she had to. But then she grew to love the rewards she would get for the simple dexterity of her mouth...
She managed, within a few months, to gather up enough gold to buy a household, without even granting her maidenhood. She recruited her father's old stewards, and hired more servants, buying a house big enough to rival her father's one. Taking notice of her quick rise to power and her skill in combat, the highborn of Starpond offered her a place as a knight of Starpond, and offered her even more wealth and comfort. She generously accepted, and at eighteen, was more a success than even her forty-year-old father had been.
ADULTHOOD It turned out that being a knight offered many interesting opportunities, and immediately wiped away her boredom. Lilith investigated many criminal cases, using wit, threats and sex to discover the truth. She fought in tourneys; she taught new squires; she did everything a normal knight would do, having a lot of fun doing it. And at two-and-twenty, she found a fellow knight who was perfect in every way. Their senses of humour matched exactly, they were both comely, they were both loyal, friendly and enjoyed teasing each other.
Within a year, they were married. This quick relationship caused shock among many, and the city took to giving Lilith the name Foxheart, due to her apparent slyness and ability to lure people into doing her will. She liked it so much, she took it as her legal surname.
Lilith and her husband had many escapades; on the battlefield and in the bedroom. They fought together at every chance, and when they went to bed, it was said that neighbours for a half-mile were kept awake until the couple had completed their love-making. Every man and woman in the city envied one of the couple; the women envied Lilith, for her beauty and her extremely active sexual life. The men envied her husband, for his ability to get himself inside Lilith whenever he wanted.
But the relationship soon died out, literally; one man grew so envious of Lilith's husband that he murdered him, slaughtering him from the shadows so that he couldn't fight back. Lilith was so sad and so angry that she tortured the man for a week before finally killing him. She grieved for a month, but then stumbled across her wizard; the one she'd hired so long ago to research new spells for her to try and learn. He'd discovered a way to wipe specific memories while leaving others alone.
Lilith demanded that he wipe her memory of her husband so that she would not grieve any longer, and he obliged. Lilith lost all memory of her husband, and became the woman she was before marriage, however the spell was lost due to a backfire, causing the wizard to lose memory of the spell.
And so, Lilith is back to her old ways; the same she was when she was younger and single. She has returned to her old methods of getting information, and feels no remorse because of her missing memory. As sad a story as hers is, she is still fighting for Starpond.

Then give me a suggestion, how old would you say Victor is when the Qashani attacked

He's 24, right? So... perhaps he could be 21 when they start attacking, but he knew the men of the Qashani before they rebelled.

Also, the Qashani (the higher ranked ones) look like Blackdoom's picture. The lower ones would just wear whatever they have until they prove themselves worthy of the Qashani robes. They fight with daggers, from the shadows.

And I forgot to say before; Sid, your character seems insanely overpowered.
He was trained to take on many men, up to 600 in a single encounter, without tiring or getting hit, due to this he is very agile and quick, and can take on many assailants. He is also an expert free runner and employs theatricality and deception as arts in combat.
Six... hundred... men. First, who's going to be taking on 600 men alone? Second, who realistically is going to get out of that situation?

Yeah Skies, I'm cool with that. Either my character hired yours to help protect his business against the Qashani, or your character is a knight that serves under my character if I make him of the lesser noble rank.

Basically, Lilith is a bit of a... deviant. She takes the "slightly revealing clothes" point and extends it. The images were to explain the tattoos, not just because half-naked

I have no issue with the character, I was just wondering. I did not intend to offend at all, nor was I implying anything.
