She stepped back from him, and for the first time glanced around at the ruins. Though they were partially collapsed, the smooth stone still seemed so impressively pristine. She wasn't exactly well versed in the history of the Dwemer and their culture, they'd never truly interested her, only that they had disappeared some great time ago without a trace. The only thing left were these ruins, spread throughout the land, and whatever fragments of culture they contained. Her thoughts were disrupted by Bruynzeel, blotting tenderly at her face, to which she responded with a slight jolt of shock.
"Hm?" She looked down, seeing the last smudged remains of paint on the cloth. Her eyes met his and narrowed in embarassment, though her face failed to show it, and she brushed his hand away gently, feeling a bit patronized. "Don't..." She told him with a sigh, sitting down on a bit of crumbled pillar as he straightened the arrows in her quiver. Her face softened a bit as she unsheathed the dagger from it's small leather binding near her boot and held it up to her eye to inspect. "Forget it..."
She put the dagger back with a quick, fluid motion and looked toward Geminus with whom she'd not yet been aquainted. With a strained smile and a slight nod in recognition she greeted him from afar, assuming someone had at least remembered her in name before him. Over the knight's shoulders she saw Tappit with his hands raised toward the less than enthused looking Calcelmo, who ignored the apparent insult with a roll of his eyes. "Heh..." She muttered under her breath, standing and stretching her legs gently, wandering toward him. "Up to your antics again already, I see, and we've barely begun. He's seen so many disappear down there it's a wonder the guilt doesn't keep him from letting us go. Hmph, fanaticism will take you there." She crossed her arms, also looking sourly toward the studious Altmer.
With a last look at her weapons, and ensuring they were properly secured, she took one short walk around the cavern. She'd always fancied herself an appreciative student of the world, however informally, and decided though knowledge was not her reason for being here, it was worth at least a look around. She came back to the group, some of whom she could see were becoming restless, and it gave her a sort of wolfish grin she rarely bore. "I'm ready...should you all be."
