Askari eyes the men. "Mind if I join in? S'not often I find mercenaries willing to talk a problem out instead of foolishly trying to beat what they want out of me."
"You'd have to prove yourself. That and several other things: try to uphold the law whenever you can, protect the innocent, not attack those who aren't attacking you, and the two most important things: not stealing from anyone, especially not us, and not turning anyone into a vampire. Basically do the right thing and don't turn anyone into a vampire. I will tell you now, training is intense. But if you are interested, we would be willing to work with you. If you join, we are currently headed back up the mountain from clearing out a large cave. There we can talk more, if you are interested. Maybe you'll actually get to know the men there." He laughed.Askari eyes the men. "Mind if I join in? S'not often I find mercenaries willing to talk a problem out instead of foolishly trying to beat what they want out of me."
"Sure, I guess. Who are the Xaosopors?""Er, I meant, join in the boozing. I'm already subscribed to a group. The Xaosopor Clan. Besides, the not vampire thing would be a problem as I have NO control whatsoever on whether or not Vampiric Drain will infect someone."
"I never knew their names, but we have had to deal with them before. They were good fighters. It's just a shame that they chose to do the wrong thing."Askari gives them all a blank look. "You don't know who the biggest and most notorious pirate Clan in all of Tamriel is?"
"We've only encountered your clan once or twice.""Nyeh I thought you looked familiar. Yeah well, doing the wrong thing brings more of an adrenaline rush. And it is Molag-Bal's will to crush and bend wills is it not?" She sits down at the table. "Surprised you didn't recognize me, given my brother Kazasha is the captain. Big guy, shadowy armor, poofy smoke-blue hair like one big fuzzy mohawk."
"What do you mean by that?""Then many ships use your name to do rather unkind things, and try to squirm out of our grasp."
"The Greencloaks. It's only the group you see here, so I don't know how or why there are other ships claiming the name of the Greencloaks. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. The guild and I will start investigating right away. Do you have any information on the people using the Greencloak name?""You guys are, what, the Greenguard or something? The Xaosopors have run into other pirate ships claiming allegiance to a group of the same name many times. Doesn't exactly save their lives but yeah. On the seas your group's name has a very bad rap."
"That depends. If you try to steal from us again, then you get nothing. The more info you provide, the more you get paid. How about 100 to start and we'll see what we find out.""Really now?" Askari purrs. "How much you talking?"
"A thousand is too much. I'm sorry.""A hundred? Mmm that's not enough starter for a pirate crew numbering in the twenties or more. They'll be looking at you like food instead of a meal ticket. A thousand, on the other hand..."
