The conversations were quite peaceful; at least, most of them were. It surprised Valencia quite a bit, so she eventually thought to enjoy the presence of such an aura. The woman pulled out a book; a fiction work of Athyn Muendil called The Cake and the Diamond. The woman had bought the book awhile back, and was saving it for a relaxing place to read. She heard another enter the inn, glancing back to see an elvish man.
She returned to her book, about to open it, when a waitress asked her if she'd like anything. "Ah... just a red apple, please." She spoke sweetly, smiling to the woman and handing her a few septims before she walked away. Valencia then returned to her book, opening to the first page to begin her reading. While most would find it odd for one to read in such a public and social place, but to the Nordic Breton, that was her point. She could read, and if anyone cared to spark and conversation, she would willingly place her book aside.
Not much longer, the woman returned with a shiny red apple and the white-haired young woman thanked her. Taking a bite of the juicy red apple pleased the blue-eyed woman tremendously, and she continued to read her new novel.
