Talvas Fathryon missing

after i had talvas fathryon as my follower i was running around doing other quest until i reached "the path of knowledge" where neloth joins you. well my issue is neloth bumped talvas out of the follower location in my party and i cant find him anywhere...i went to my homes, the giant mushroom, raven rock and i just cant find him even in skyrim i cant find him...does anyone have a clue where he went??? im on 360 so i cant use console commands

Did you finish the quest with neloth yet? I had this happen with my first charscter but he returned as soon as I was done with the quest and the follower left..he reappears after a screen reload.


I don't remember if it was the same quest or kit though.

all the quests dealing with neloth are done and he still hasnt come back yet
