Yesterday, I bought Hearthfire for the PC because it had just come out. I bought the game, installed it, and started it.
After doing all the quests for the jarl, I was disappointed to discover that the jarl's steward wouldn't offer me a house. I thought I had done everything right... helped the jarl, his people, and became his thane... but he and his steward wouldn't offer me a house.
I'm sure it was one of the cities that gives you a Hearthfire house... it was Falkreath. I also tried the other cities, and they didn't offer me anything. Is there something that I did wrong?
