Mister Freeze
It was one part of the Requiem mod that I really liked. Of course, Requiem added healing poultices which would heal you very slowly over time. It increases the difficulty without changing damage or health levels. Why did you change the health regen to zero? A lot of games do that already. To me it doesn't make sense. After I get injured in real life, I am not, forever more injured. I do recover eventually, albeit slowly. I don't need to quaff some potion or visit some healer.
And realistically, if you get a large gash in your leg it is not just going to get better by itself. It is going to get infected and eventually turn to blood poisoning or gangrene.
As did I. It wasn't until turning off regen that I realized how quickly all those little scrapes, that you forget about when you do regenerate, added up. When you are having to use a couple potions in a fight just to stay on your feet and then more afterward to return to full strength they go quick.I'm surprised you find them so uncommon. I end up with hundreds since I don't really use them, even on my non-magical characters. I just avoid being hit.
What is interesting is that I turned off regen for a mage I created (running the two characters simultaneously) and discovered I actually appreciate the restoration tree now. Potions aren't a problem with this character, but he has a legitimate use for a branch of magic that tended to be superfluous before.
