Skyrim Lore 101!!!

I hear people talk about Dwemar and Deadra and I have no idea...explain all of Skyrim to me!

Read a book. Seriously, most of the game lore from the Elder Scrolls comes from books you find in the game. While some of it comes from what happens in the games themselves, because the games only cover very specific and brief periods of time, the majority of the game lore, i.e. information about the Elder Scrolls universe told from a historical perspective by an anonymous citizen of Tamriel, comes from the books you find in each game.

Bethesda has given license to collect and publish the content of the books online so you can find a lot of the lore in the lore sections of The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages website and in the online book collection at The Imperial Library website.
