Must be my Nord blood......
I started my first evil character about 2 weeks ago (I'm only level 15, not much time to play) and in the last couple of days I've really started being a brutal s.o.b. I actually really enjoy trying to pickpocket someone, and then burying a dagger in their skull when I'm done. I've ALWAYS played the good guy......it's a nice change.

Nice.

I wonder if anyone plays stealth-less warriors and mages who just unleash hell for fun? And if there's nowhere to hide with them, just how do they survive? >:-)

I'm playing an evil mage. He's not big on stealth. Or murder, oddly enough. The backstory I wrote for him on a thread here requires a low profile be kept until he's much more powerful so murders are limited to bandits (because who cares if they die) and torturers (for reasons explained in the backstory). Once he regains power though...

With My current character revenge is the biggest motivator for gratuitous violence (More so since reading this thread). But since she is an assassin. I try to be discrete More of an Mafia mentality. If some guard make a comment about someone stealing my sweet roll. Instead of burning to a crisp on the spot. I'll wait a couple of nights and that city has one less guard making stupid comments.

I also decided that since the Stormcloaks are just as much to blame for my near beheading as the Imperials. I'm going to remain neutral. And by neutral I mean when ever I find them lounging around in one of their camps I'm going to rain down bound arrows and hell Fire until no one is left

Heh, just discovered today that the people of Skyrim frown upon cannibalism, at least if it's practiced in broad daylight. I had a fight with a blood dragon at the stables outside Windhelm, and the dragon managed to kill the stable hand with a gout of fire before I brought it down. I thought to myself, om nom nom, that elf cooked to a crisp and he's looking mighty appetizing, so I settled down to snack on his corpse, fresh off the grill. Before I knew what hit me, the guard nearby starts hammering me with a warhammer! I run for the hills with the guards in pursuit, and an epic battle ensues upon the hillside, which leaves several guards gravely wounded and one dead. At that point they give me the option to pay the fine, which I agree to.

Lesson learned today: don't eat bodies if there is someone around to witness the act!

It is always best to burn all the evidence. And witnesses.

Is it evil to be a werewolf and eat people at night, but be nice and helpful during the day?

Nah, that's called being smart! A full time werewolf will eventually get pitchforked and torched by an angry mob of villagers, but a werewolf who limits his indulgences strictly to the nighttime while putting up the front of an upstanding citizen by day will live long and prosper!

In response to the original post:

My second playthrough I'm doing somewhat of a psychopathic personality, picking up the daedric quests and cannibal quests I turned down the first time around.

I still pick up any quests, any reward is worth it to me and almost all quests have some kind of reward, but if I have to make a choice between sneaking by or silently ambushing characters one by one I'll take the latter. My only rule is to practice my art whenever the opportunity presents itself. The best part about being evil is you can pretend to be good and still be in character. I'm playing a physically weak character, so I'll pickpocket and sneak past archmages if I can and just ambush their henchman in the shadows like a filthy rat. When I go after the Falmer translations though this time Calcemo's nephew is dead, as well as all the guards in the East Empire Trading Company. I'm taking full advantage of that "last witness killed" scenario.

I like your thinking with the lonely guards and the homeless farmers in the countryside. I have a thought, wouldn't it be fun to see how the imperials react when the convict they're escorting suddenly drops dead of a poisoned arrow? Good luck making him talk now!! Watch out Mr. Courier, there's a ward in the middle of the road up ahead!!

One other thought: you mentioned killing quest givers afterwords in order to loot their corpses. There is a mission somewhere in the game about luring someone who trusts you to a shrine for some dark purpose. That and the ebony blade may be better uses for those people whose favorable disposition you've worked to earn.

I don't know how to make a "good guy" I guess I am actually just inherently evil

You've got some creative ideas there! I actually did something similar yesterday: I freed a thalmor prisoner, killed the thalmor, then chased down the prisoner and killed him, too. :D Felt like an appropriately psychopathic thing to do!

Good point.. I will probably regret it later on if I kill too many quest givers. So far I've only butchered a couple, so there should still be plenty of "friends" left to feed the Ebony Blade, when the time comes..

I recently created a female argonian which is wearing forsworn armor from head to toe. My idea when I created her was to create "an 'evil' witch doctor" or the like. I just started out and have several perks to use now, but I haven't used any yet, since I am not quite sure what to choose. She will of course use magic, but not only. She will not use destruction magic, she will kill with physical means. Conjuration I am quite sure of to use (might focus on necromancy), and restoration. Might use illusion as well. Sneaking might be good and then bow or one handed weapon or both. And alchemy and also enchanting. Lol, quite a few things, but not sure how many perks to put on each. This character is "for fun", not just focusing on become the most dangerous character of all times.

Right now she is a cannibal and I am thinking about becoming a vampire or a werewolf. Or neither, not sure yet... Any suggestions? :)

I'd like a place in the wild to call my home... If you decorate a place in the wild (like a camp or small house) by putting things on the ground or tables, will they disappear eventually? My understanding is that things you put in chests or the like in the wild will disappear eventually...

I'm far to goody-goody on most of my characters. Today I gave Snilf a gold ingot in his coin bucket to help him get out of Riften. I should try to he evil some time.

I recently started a new character, an Argonian Dragonborn named Claws-At-Neck and he is indeed a very evil character. What I would define an evil character to be is not just a mindless killer. An evil person would for instance decide to go after the Golden Claw, return it only to murder the shop keeper in his sleep, steal the Claw then sell it to his sister as she tries to take over the shop. Afterwards one would murder the sister and reclaim the claw. Leveling up Pickpocket so you can drop poisons in people's inventory is a great way to kill them off silently.

Guidelines for Evilness.
1. Never use any other Speech option besides Intimidate when it is available.
2. Do not give a single coin to beggars, extortionists, or merchants. Steal, barter or sell items for coin that you must keep yourself, exemption for Follower.
3. Responses should be limited to Selfish or Harsh comments, never apologize for anything.
4. Never Yield to a Guard, ever. Either Fight or Flee
5. Become a Vampire and maintain it. This creates fear in NPC's when they see you and makes the game more challenging.
6. Your follower should look evil, if you have one. Deadric armor is great for this look on Warriors, and i personally use Thalmar robes for any mage followers.
7. Come across someone walking alone on the road? They need to die and their items yours. If you have a follower, command them to slaughter the poor soul on your behalf. Once you get to the point you can summon a dragon, well sit back and let your pet feed on a Mill or Mine.
8. Buy the mass murderer's house(Windhelm?) and sadly, clean up the blood stains first before you purchase any other upgrade. This house has the same feel as the Haunted Manor in Oblivion. You get a spacious Lair with secret room to commit evil!

I generally play good or neutral characters but my dark elf mage is willingly going to head out to Broken Fang Cave, subject himself to Sanguinare Vampiris which will in turn make him a vampire....all in the name of science, to understand them a bit more. A sick, twisted experiment of sorts.
Whether or not he intends to cure himself after the experiment remains undecided.......

My most evil character I've created was a Bosmer assassin who dual-wields the Blade of Woe and Mehrune's Razor. So far, he's got about 220 murders racked up. He even looks evil, always walking around with a smirk on his face, killing anyone from monks to farmers to entire towns (Rorik and most of Rorikstead is gone, Karthwasten is now a ghost town). My favorite part about this character is his home. He lives in Lakeview Manor with Ysolda, Runa Fair-Shield and Dorthe (daughter of blacksmith in Riverwood. I was able to adopt her because I murdered her mother and her dad was killed by a legendary dragon). It's such a happy home, full of life and even a pet bunny. Favorite evil character by far.

Dark Lord of Skyrim
I have played an evil roleplay alright. Still do. My Vampire Lord Mina is the Dark Lord of Skyrim who commands legions of thralls and vampires (MODS baby) from her College of Winterhold. She shows no mercy. Drinks from the fount of mortality endlessly. Rage and anger consume her. All because she lost her lover Lydia.

I fell into this roleplay accidentally when Lydia died on a quest and I, as the player, got pissed. I then had a goal of Thralling her so my character could be reunited. Since raising the dead is considered evil in Skyrim, my character naturally progressed down a dark path which lead to her choice of becoming a vampire. However by the time I got the spell, Lydia's body was gone. With her lover forever lost (and me pissed off) Mina snapped! Rest is history.

I never did find Lydia's body. This was all before I switched to PC. I continued this RP when I got Dawnguard and have been literally playing it ever since. Mina is the one character I just can't seem to let go. She has changed and grown a lot since I first started my RP. Maybe I should write about her.
