T. Rakinson
A Brute among Beasts
(OOC: Sorry im a bit controlling here but when i get my next post up i think you'll be glad.)
Brendela couldent help but panic when she noticed not all the thralls died with the vampire lord, which indicated that they were under the control of somebody else, possibly the "infiltrator". As Savos's atronach collapsed into a pile of ice, Brendela almost collapsed to the floor, less out of pain but more so out of sorrow. If one pure-blood could cause this much damage, a whole council would be suicidal to fight. The very thought of it was depressing.
"I hope you didn't want to interrogate it more, but I don't think we could have gotten it back in that cage,"
Brendela didnt care, for she had just noticed the remains of J'zargo, a Khajjit mage who had died casting a cloak speel he had created. The thralls hadnt been picky about how they'd gone inhumeing everybody. Not having a speech planned, Brendela heard the nord speak again.
"So...who wants a drink?"
Trying not to wrinkle her face in disgust, for the mercenary hated alcohol, she looked up and saw one of the man asking about healing the remaining pillars start to crumble. Quickly pointing towards the door that led back to the barracks, She stated the obvious.
'Run!'
Seeing Savos push his way to his feet, she nudged Ralyx in the direction of the book carrier, he grudgingly picked the man up and began running to the exit along with the two girls, they made it out of the barracks and into the cold air as the entire building collapsed.
---------------------------------------------------------------
As the dust settled Brendela breathed a sigh of relief. All the people had been led outside by Leo and the human guards. As she turned around, she saw Ralyx, The mace-wielding nord, her fellow archer, the spellsword and his new friend, and the book carrier.
But somebody hadn't.
'Savos?...' she whispered.
