PS3 Major help needed

Hello all,

I've played skyrim several times on ps3 in the past but lost my ps3 in my recent relationship break up, I bought a new one yesterday along with a copy of the game.

When I've come to install it it doesn't even get to the opening sequence and I see the character falling from the sky and it freezes!!!! I don't know what to do

When it installed, is it hooked up to the net so you got all the patches?

Is there any gamedata that it's installed as yet? If so, then delete this and allow it to reinstall. See if that has any effect.

Are you using a 12Gb PS3 by any chance?
