Spoiler Problem getting Skaal Quest to start

Hi folks.

This was received by me in a PM so I hope you can help. I don't have an Xbox so I don't have this DLC yet. I did already check UESP to see if there was some way to address this but there wasn't anything about bugs posted yet.

I have completed the temple of miraak quest but i cannot receive the fate of the skaal quest.i have killed some skaal npcs but your support did say it wouldnt effect the main quest . i have retried , went back to the main land and back but i cant start the quest. i would appreciate any help.

I haven't had this happen, but have you tried going to Skaal village and talking to Storn Crag-Strider? He's the dude who gives you the quest, maybe he's got some dialogue somewhere that can start it for you.
