PC PC Game Saves

Hey guys!
I have been playing since 12/25/2011 and I already have 500+ auto saves... Is this normal? Should I delete most of them? Are these individual files or just one file with everything embedded?
I'm just wondering if my hard drive will be out of space because of this... :-/

wow that's a lot of auto saves? how did you get that many? most I have/had, I think is four. It depends on your settings mostly. I had it auto save when I opened the menu, when I transitioned, when I rested and there was somthing else... I only ended up with maybe four that rotated all the time. Plus a quick save. Now if I went into the save menu and clicked new save, I'd have a numbered save. I eventually deleted all those except one that I use to save my character to when I switch characters.

So, I'd check your setting first, then go into the load saved games screen and start deleting. Alternately go to the saved games directory and delete them from there.

to many saved games has been known to cause game lag and other quircky things.

I think I got up to nearly 700 saves before I created a new folder in the game files and cut/pasted all the older saves into there "just in case". Now I'm trying to just rotate between 5-10 saves because having so many was overwhelming
