Personality: Manipulative, sly, and ultimately charming in demeanor, Ricard has all but mastered the art of speech-craft. His insatiable cravings for ambition and wealth alike have led him to pursue a path of larceny and treasure hunting, and he possesses ties with a select few powerful contacts. Violence is usually a last resort for Ricard; however, his prowess in battle is remarkable to say the least. He is often underestimated as well; a mistake many of his peers seem to make.
(Heavily condensed) Backstory: Ricard prefers to keep his past a secret; he is ashamed and humiliated at his clients finding out the circumstances of his birthright. He was born in a middle-class village near the High Rock/Skyrim border, though he resided on the High Rock side. His family, the only impoverished one in the village, was poor and often sickly, and money was a rarity. The family lived in a dilapidated two-room house, and was small and insignificant to their peers. In addition, it was often the butt of local jokes.
In the wake of his parents’ respective deaths, Ricard, now sixteen, began to amend his lowly upbringing. He first moved to Skyrim, where he developed a penchant for merchanting and speech-craft while traveling with a Khajiit caravan. Thievery came not long after, and he began to make a significant foothold in the black marketing aspect of trading, all while refining his inborn ability to do magic.
