Shield Bearer

Hey I've been playing skyrim for a month now and for some reason out of nowhere when I have my sheild equipped I cant see it. I dont know if I accidently did a glitch or something and it happened but I have no idea how to sort this out.
I've tried dropping it then it becomes visible but wen I pick it up and equip it its still invisible. I also tried unequipping it n absolutely nothing.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
