Is it possible to put a double enchant on his armour with the dual enchantment perk?

I don't believe so. When you go to use the Enchanting table, a menu will come up showing what you can disenchant or enchant. I have the dual enchant skill, and I've not yet seen an already enchanted item, with one enchant on it to show in the menu.

Perhaps on a PC there's a code that can be used, but not XBox.

Nope, sorry. Once an item's enchanted it's done. You can only put 2 enchantments on something that's completely unenchanted.

Makes my Telvanni robes pretty much useless at higher levels . The Miraak Robes are great as they are though.

Unique items or quest items cannot be disenchanted and you don’t need to. Use the alchemy and enchanting to add your own enchantment to your weapon / armors, it is much better, more powerful and fun. Just my 2 cents ... I am cheater ... lol ..
