I've been playing Skyrim since release, I have two 81's and I haven't run into a whole lot of technical issues besides Bethesda's standard freezes and bugs. But after loading up Dawnguard I've been having a hard time playing. Most loading screens just sit black for a couple minutes before the loading even appears, lots of crashes on fast travels and I run into constant battles where I'm getting like 1 fps. The game skips a frame every few seconds like I'm hitting pause/play on a VCR. It's about impossible to play. This is on Xbox too btw. Is there a certain load order? I installed Dawnguard before the new patch so would it help to clear my cache, patch then install DLC? Thanks.

I wiped my hard drive, stored what I needed on a flash drive first.
Then I installed skyrim on my hard drive, now it plays smooth.
