Other than the Argonian, the DB are the most obnoxious bunch of tools I have ever met in a video game.

They deserve to be obnoxious, they are world class assassins; who is going to fluff with them? As for being tools, yes they have all dedicated themselves to acting as the tools of Sithis, embodiment of emptiness.

No but seriously. I didn't see them as that way. They just needed time to get to know you and how you'd do on your contracts. Over time they all grow to love you. Even the werewolf, who you have to rescue. I was sad when most of them were killed off.
