help, wedding failed

So, im tring to get married so i can get an achievement on xbox but when im in the temple waiting for the next day. Lydia shows up dead inside mara's temple, infront of the main door. Right when she shows up, it said fail and everyone is telling me to leave.

lol, im trying to get that achievement too but none of the hot maidens will marry me.

The same thing happened to me, for the most part anyway. I simply found someone else to get the achievement. No Lydia shows up dead at Breezehome, with all the gear she had. Somewhat convenient I guess.
