Quest Hearthfire issues

Hi everyone.

Running PC, in Steam.


I received a letter from a courier after installing hearth-fire, but when I read it (from Falkreath), no quest appears. As I understand it I'm supposed to get a misc quest to go buy land.

I also can not get quests to appear from the Jarl of Falkreath - no one in the longhouse gives me any options for quests, etc.



Any fixes?

Have you done the civil war questline? If so that might be a problem if Falkreath has a different jarl.
