Just a little appreciation thread for Frost...
When I first stole the horse, I wasn't too wowed, kind of expected it to die quickly.
WELL. I've been sorely mistaken. That damn horse has fought dragons with me, been roasted alive, attacked by the entire Whiterun guard outside the gates, and fell down waterfalls. It. Just. Won't. Die. What a loyal steed.
I've had him through probably 150 hours of gameplay, and he has died twice. Once, I shouted him right off a cliff near the top of the Throat of the World, and the second time, a damn pack of Frostbite spiders ambushed us and I made the mistake of fighting them on horseback. This thing has stormed forts with me and battled along my side, and has killed a dragon pretty much by itself. I'm blown away to say the least. So will I be absolutely wowed with Shadowmere? I utilize the horse a lot, because I rarely fast travel, preferring to explore my way somewhere.
