PS3 Farkas bug... (he won't stop talking to me!) and blue flashes

well not only ps3 but xbox. its really pissing me off and it has only started to happen. IS there any bad thing that happens if i kill him

He's important to the story and gives you a few missions. You can only fix this bug by traveling to any cities you owe a bounty on and paying up since he is registered as a bounty collector.

If you haven't completed the Companions' main questline then he's flagged as unkillable. He's not the only Companion that will do this until you pay off all your bounties either. All the members of The Circle have generic guard faction so unless you intend to eventually kill off Aela and Vilkas too then you should just pay your bounties.
