Where is the best place to find ebony ore or where can I buy Ebony Ignot?

If you want most blacksmiths carry all the different materials and they restock every 48 or so hours.

Thanks but do any vendors sell it? Or can it just be mined?

Like I said all the BLACKSMITHS carry lots of Ingots and Ores for sale, I like White Run cause the ladys inventory is seperate from the guys so its like 2 shops in one. Just make sure she is outside and he is inside. I have found if they are close enough together there inventory becomes the same.

I haven't seen Ebony ore available yet from any blacksmits. That is why I asked.

Well then maybe once you find some they start stocking the one you seem to go after. I noticed at first it wasnt with vendors then once i got to ebony smithing they started carrying them and now they have at least 4 ingots, I got 20 ingots from whiteruns blacksmith's. Sorry for the some what sour info.

I guess my new statment will be once you have one in your inventory blacksmiths start carrying them?

What level are you? You have to attain a certain level before Merchant's will stock higher end ingots. If you haven't reached level 27 you wont be seeing ebony ingots in Merchant sales inventories.

No point buying it. Make your way to Gloombound Mine. Enough Ebony ore in there to make a whole set of Ebony/Daedric armour and weapons with some spare.

I don't remember when they started blacksmiths in Whiterun started carrying ebony ingot and ore, but It did seem that shortly after I found and started using Ebony Armor they had some. I know I don't have the perk to craft ebony armor yet but I can fix it up. I might have been over level 20 or so though
