I'm a guy, but where romance is concerned, I'm wired completely wrong. Shoving women out of line for the latest Sidney Sheldon novel. It's really no fluke either because I spent 10 years in the adult industry writing fictional fantasy stories from the point of view of the women. Everyone loved my work and nobody had any idea I wasn't female. I was disturbingly popular with the women who knew however.
So it is natural for me to play as female characters. They are far more interesting to me as protagonists. Loved Xena, hated Hercules. Love Anne Bonny. The rest of the pirates are largely forgettable. It's pretty universal. Oh and women are much easier to dress, and much more rewarding to see dressed. Found that out playing Second Life.
