with heavy weapon when i do power attacks I could do side, thrust, back(directional power attacks). with dual weilding its always the same animation. Standing still both swing. No way to thrust forward. Am I doing it wrong?
Unfortunately I think you're doing it right - to my knowledge there's only one power attack for two-handed, which is the standing-still-swishy-swishy-stab-stab to which you're referring.
