Cant seem to beat marokai

no matter how many different ways i try i cant seem to beat him any suggestions and just so you know i dont have a bow at all.

I would help but I used a bow... Would you be interested in getting archery up or are you trying to be pure mage? only thing I would suggest is poisoning him or sapping his magicka

what kind of mage are you? i had levelled conjuration up enough to summon flame atronachs, summoned one and hid haha. took ages to kill him, had to time and place it right so he never targetted me. quicksaved like crazy throughout the fight, on master he one shotted me many times.
