Okay, but you speak english yes? So put in some effort because this is an English based webpage.

The empire is fighting to keep the empire from falling apart, they aren't trying to stop the worship of Talos.

Ulfric is trying to make Skyrim "independent" which would mean he is trying to break the very thing Talos helped build.

How do you not see what is wrong with that logic?

And the thing Talos built lives on trough Skyrim. Why is that hard to understand?

And the thing Talos built lives on trough Skyrim. Why is that hard to understand?

The thing Talos built is the Third Empire, that lives on through Skyrim when Stormcloaks are in open rebellion against it?

"Because even if we can't openly worship him, Talos the god was once Tiber Septim the man, and this is his Empire."

Talos didn't build temples to himself, he conquered Tamriel. His dream was a unified Tamriel, under his new Empire. The Nords once feared him and raised an army to fight him. 'Nord and Breton nobles, rightfully fearing the ambitious Colovian king and his undefeatable general, formed an alliance and invaded northern Cyrodiil.'

They raised an army against him after he had already shown he could use the Thu'um in the Battle of Old Hroldan, they only started following him with a zealous passion after they surrendered to him, and the Nords betrayed their own Breton allies to join him.

Talos was a General for the Colovian Estates under King Cuhlecain, he is loved throughout Cyrodiil very largely, the man was buried in Cyrodiil along with many of his blood line. The Nords didn't always love Talos, wasn't until he defeated them at Sancre Tor which is now stands as a historical monument of General Talos’ defeat of Nord invaders in 2E 852 and as the mythical birthplace of Reman Cyrodiil. His own armor was placed within the tomb of the Reman Emperors, also Dragonblood.

So what Talos built, you seek to tear apart. The man forged the Third Empire, all you're doing is trying to disband it, what a great way to honor him. Destroy what he gave his entire life for.

The thing about the worship of Talos that falls short to many Stormcloak supporters, everything great that he did, he did it while he was Tiber Septim the man. Everything he is loved for he did it as a man, not a God.

Tiber Septim the man, forged the greatest Empire all of Tamriel has ever known, united all the lands as one.

What did Talos the God ever do?

You are guilty of insurrection, murder of Imperial citizens, and accessory to high treason against the Empire. It's over.

You forgot murder of 2 imperial generals, 52 groups of soldiers escorting prisoner, 18 justiciars, capturing of cities, being chosen of akatosh etc..

Doesn't really matter, I can't kill you twice. Unless I find a Necromancer... now that's a thought.

Just to cap this off. I found this nice little bit of info...

(Pulled from The Elder Scrolls Wikia) and a youtube vid.

"Ulfric can be killed during the Civil War if the Dragonborn chooses to side with the Empire. After the Battle for Windhelm, the Dragonborn storms his throne room, and he requests that the Dragonborn will kill him, as "it will make for a better song". Upon death, he can be encountered in Sovngarde as a specter, interestingly regretting his belligerent actions against the Empire due to how it only weakend Skyrim and strengthened the Thalmor."

Nope
You should find him. He doesnt regret it. he regrets that he failed so the blood has been spilled for nothing.

First step is acceptance.

It's okay, we've all been guilty of liking a bad person at one time.
