How shall we portray Bashii-Kulr's sociability vs. needs?

  • Extreme Anti-socialist (Cannot dare to enter into a capital, hold, or villiage. He hunts to survive)

"I beseech you, Molag-Bal! I offer my services to you as your champion. In return, I ask for the power to dominate my foes and cast those who plot against us into Oblivion. I will use the souls of our enemies as offerings into you in your realm and if need be, to the Ideal Masters in the Soul Cairn. You have my body, you have my soul, all I want is power!" - Bashii-Kulr

Drem Yol Lok, Greetings.
In this Blog I hope to provide a small means of excitement and story-telling of the Dark-Elf Bashii-Kulr. Bushii-Kulr is my second character in my playthrough of Skyrim. This fan fiction segment, however, will not depict the happenings and encounters of my playthrough. This story was merely inspired from my character. This being said, there may be insistence when the story will have familiar events as such from the Skyrim quest lines.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own the intellectual property rights to Skyrim or to any portion of the Elder Scrolls series (including in-game NPCs, locations, etc). Bethesda/Xenimax owns all rights to that material. I am making no monetary profit whatsoever from this work. It is simply an expression of my love for the series to share with other fans. No infringement is intended.

The original factions and characters contained herein such as my protagonist Bashii-Kulr and others are indeed my own - please do not use or feature them elsewhere without my permission. All applicable rights reserved.

A little back story before we begin:

Name: Bashii-Kulr (Ba-she Kool-ru)
Race: Dark-elf male
Occupancy/Role: Heavy Armored Warlock
Focuses: Fire Destruction Spells (Mastered), Conjured Bound Weapons (Mastered/prefers Bow), Summoned Daedra, Heavy Armor, and Enchanting.

Bashii-Kulr had a hard life growing up. He was a refugee, like his parents. On the road to skyrim, the caravans, of which his family traveled with, was ambushed by necromancers. He was the only survivor. But this was not by means of hiding, but by the fact that Bashii-kulr's inborn resistants to magic and fire frightened the necromancers. It's wasn't 'til after the murder of his parents that Bashii-kulr learned this.

He was but 11 when settling in Windhelm. Living in the Grey-Quarter was harsh as a dark elf orphan. The Nord settlers treated the young elf as if he was vermin. Thus creating a subtle yet dark hatred of Nords in Bashii-Kulr. When Bashii-Kulr had moments of peace, he was not haunted by the memory of his parents' deaths, but curious as to his potential with the dark arts of magic. When overhearing a rumour of a College teaching magic, Bashii-Kulr fled Windhelm and traveled to Winterhold to begin his training in Conjuration and Destruction magic.

Bashii-Kulr quickly grew to become a master at wizardry, and found a liking to Bound Weapon spells, particularly Archery, and fire related magic. 20 years of study flew by when the Dark elf finally felt the urge to leave the College. A destiny struck Bashii-Kulr's heart and he set out to become an all powerful Warlock of the dark arts. But this was no task that would accomplished without help. During his studies at the College of Winterhold, the Dark-elf heard of tales and rumors of that which they call Daedra Lords of the Oblivion Realms. One in particular caught the Dark-elf's fancy. Molag-Bal.

On the his search to find a connection with Lord Bal, Bashii-Kulr became entangled in an ambush between Imperials and Stormcloaks. This is where the Story of Bashii-Kulr begins in Skyrim.

Some Final Notes: I have set this post to 18+ due to the following:

Strong/Vulgar Language
Blood/Gore
Suggestive themes
Racial/Religious Tension *

*Though the Elder Scrolls lore suggests Religious beings as Aedrea and Daedra, etc., these themes may relate to others religious views. Keep in mind I mean no offence to those of Christian, Catholic or other faiths. This story may still in fact play on those themes in relation to real-life issues.
*Same regards to issues on racism.

In my next Entry, I shall begin the account of Bashii-Kulr. But I can't do this alone. It is as much your story as it is mine. If you have any preferred directions or any feedback, please feel free to let me know. Keep in mind, I want to keep Bashii-Kulr in the pre-destined path that I have laid out before him.

I hope to create an incredible Story, the story of the Dark-Elf Warlock Bashii-Kulr. Molag-Bal will be please...

Should be an interesting read, especially with Molag Bal, haha. I've always liked playing as Daedra followers.

I'll be reading. :)
