Animal Followers or companions

Ok so I had a animal companion named vigilence "had" he died trying to make it to blackreach R.I.P
F#$k you Falmer. But I was just wondering does anyone know any other animal follower you can get and please be spolier free. I already know about the SPOLIER ALERT!!! The dragon shout that allowes you to summon a dragon. So dont say that lol

There are only dogs. There are stray dogs wandering and a dog near solitude in the woods nearby a house with a dead nord and there will be the dog. if the dog isnt there then use the wait feature for an hour or so...

Near falkreath there is a dog as part of a daedric quests and you can buy war dogs. You can use a conjure familiar spell to summon a ghostly wolf and I believe bosmer can have familiars and make woodland creatures help them.
