Quest Alftand Assistance

(this isn't really a glitch or anything, just some help)

I have just one simple question: how would one go about killing a Dwarven Centurion when one is a Level 12 Battlemage? I've been trying different methods for a while now and he just obliterates me with that ranged steam attack thing every time. Assistance?

(this is in the Discerning the Transmudane quest: I'm trying to find the Dragon scroll for the vampires in the DLC)

The lowest level Dwarven Centurion is twice your level, has over 650 health, has 25% magic resistance, immunity to frost damage and hits for 75-150 damage and does 75 damage with its steam attack. It'd probable that the only way you're going to be able to defeat it is by lowering the difficulty level setting.
