Aetherial Crown not working

Hello Forum

Just got myself the Aetherial Crown and wanted to stack my active Lovers Stone with the Warrior Stone.
When I activated the Warriors Stone the game told me the usual stuff Lovers Stone disabled, Warrior Stone activated.
So I went back to the Lovers Stone and activated it and its the same: Warriors Stone disabled and Lovers Stone activated.

Went back to the Warriors Stone but it seems the be still active however under Active Effects there is no Warriors Stone.
Does the Crown work correct and I cant see the second Stone anyway but it still works or is it bugged?

you have to be wearing the crown when you activate both stones, and after you've "filled" it with the older effect, you have to wear the crown to have the effect applied to your character
