So,
@Madrar, about these Whitescar brotherhood knights. I've always thought about them kind of like Black Numenoreans. I mean, it's up to you and
@Aethalia , of course, just my thoughts.
Black Numenoreans... are they like the Mouth of Sauron (know him from LOTR: Conquest)?
I'm up to the Two Towers now. Its weird how the story is laid out in the books; iv'e just concluded the batle of Helm's Deep, and there still hasen't been even a single chapter focused on Sam and Frodo!
Yeah, the mouth of Sauron was a Black Numenorean. Actually, when people ask me about them, I generally refer to him, rather than characters from Shadows of Mordor, since only one of them is actually a Black Numenorean (the Tower). For those of you wondering, Black Numenoreans were those that were loyal to the King of Numenor, and worshipped Melkor, in hopes of becoming more powerful than the Valar and the elves, and gaining immortality.
When Numenor was destroyed, they fled and formed small communities, like the pirate haven of Umbar, or some places in far Harad. Though a lot of them either joined the Witch King in Angmar, or Sauron in Mordor as his elite forces. Generally, most of them are long lived, and skilled in sorcery. NOT all of them look like the mouth of Sauron. The Mouth looks like he does because, 'repeating the words of Sauron in the Black Speech has caused his mouth bleed and rot away gradually.
