How do you backstab a Dragon?
Just finished a runthrough of the Dragon Age series (actually I got bored 1/2 way through Inquisition) and now I'm missing Skyrim again. I started Oblivion, but feel like I should come home.
Yeah, I love it, but, at a certain point it turns in to MMO territory, what with all the pointless collecting of crap for no other reason than you're going to need it and then there's the pointless collecting of shards and tiles and the endless fetch/kill quest.Funny thing is I gave up on DAI halfway as well. It's just not as good as Skyrim or Oblivion. Hell it ain't even worthy of the Dragon Age title cause it's hot garbage. pl*** writing, stock characters and a formula we're all to familiar with. It's safe to say that DAI has little going for it. Course I already knew that since ME2 but I bought it anyway.

Agreed. As a mage it's just freeze 'em, blow 'em up, freeze 'em, blow 'em up over and over and over and that's the bosses too. It's a fun game when I don't think about anything or when I enjoy the graphics but all the little things completely destroy what little fun there is to be had. Combat is more of a series of button presses and pausing to set up traps or mines which can be fun but after the 50th time it's the same thing. Then there are the bosses that are just meat shields with big damage outputs. Then there's the terrible writing and dialogue and the stock characters. I enjoyed DA2 but I only played it once all the way and was done with it. Playing DAI just makes me want to play Origins or Skyrim. Since I don't have Origins Skyrim it is. Then there are so many people that think mediocre is good. Hell even great. I'm done with EA and will never buy a game with their logo on it ever again. With all the pl*** Andromeda brought on EA it really shouldn't have taken fans of ME that long to figure out EA hired a bunch of hacks. Ever since I booted up ME2 I knew things were going down hill for Bioware. With all that said at least we have KOTOR and Origins.

Never played KOTOR or ME (too old for my taste), but, I'm a horrible person too. I love DA2 the best.
He got a point there, just be yourself! There a lot of things you can do in skyrimDon't role play for your character. Role play for you. Want to be a champion of thievery or killing undead go for it. Want to be an elf that has a flare for archery and magic why not. The beauty of Skyrim is not that you can do anything. It's that you can be anything. An important part of role playing is injecting a bit of you into your character. The case of Skyrim you are the character. Just something that I love about Skyrim and why I keep coming back.
