Name: Haskor Lonjar The Soul Seeker
Gender: Male
Race: Nord
Age: 44
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Allegiance: The Talons
Class and Combat preference: Paladin (of a sort.)
Haskor is what one would consider an 'anti-paladin'. He prefers to engage his enemies at close range, using fire and his ebony mace to suppress and crush resistance. His heavy armour protects him from most weapons and a fair amount of spells. This allows him to commit to all out attacks, that often demoralize the enemy. He can heal himself and allies through his arts, though now, he is less than likely to do so. Haskor can fight unarmed, if he needs to. Though, his fighting style relies more on enduring blows until one good punch from himself puts them down.
Despite his change in alignment, Haskor is not without honour. He will always allow an enemy to retreive a fallen weapon, and prefers not to strike his foe from behind. Something that frequently sees him at odds with his Talon brethren. When challenged to a direct duel, the former paladin will fight using only his mace, and refrain from healing himself until the foe has fallen.
Appearance: Hoskar is typically tall for a Nord, with bright green eyes, pale skin, and midlength dirty blonde hair. He is heavily muscled from years of training and combat. He has a short growth of facial hair, but the majority of his face is covered in scars, from a battle long ago.
Armour: (see the attachment.)
Weaponry: Hoskar uses the ebony mace Sunder a lightning enchanted weapon that is equally dangerous to mages as well standard warriors.
Spells: Flames, Firebolt, Heal Other and Fast Healing.
Personality: Despite his former profession, Hoskar is a cold, callous individual, who will do what he can to ensure he emerges victorious. He is capable of compassion, but it is often swiftly buried.
History: Hoskar Lonjar was born in the village of Rorikstead to a pair of Nord parents. He worked his parents farm, until the village was ravaged by a band of marauders. With little purpose left, he wandered away from his life as a simple farmer. He was eventually recruited by the Paladins of Arkay, a group dedicated to rooting out evil, in all its forms.
For several years, he served with zealous purpose- fighting alongside his brother and sister paladins against heretics, vampires and other evil entities. During a particularly pitched battle, where Haskor's helm was destroyed, badly scarring his face. Unfortunately, it was later discovered that the group the paladins had slain were in fact refugees from Morrowind.
This news badly shook Haskor, and for the first time in his service, he doubted the cause. When he brought his doubts to his superiors, he was reprimanded. This, eventually, lead Lonjar to distrust the order, and gradually, he grew to hate his former comrades. During a pitched battle against vampires of the Bloodlet Throne Coven, he turned on his fellows, killing those nearest him, and fleeing the others. He came across the vicious mercenary group the Talons, who were more than happy to take him in.
Over the years, he has garnered the title the soul seeker for his relentless behaviour when hunting a target. The Paladins of Arkay seek him still with the intent of bringing him to justice. He is always sure to give his former brethren an honourable death.
