We don't really call them Rednecks. They are called Bogans here. But they are found all over Australia unfortunately.Say Kitty. Is it true that the cultural joke in Aulstralia that Queensland is where all the rednecks live?
Well that's not good at all! Hope you get better, don't bother on here if it helps your eye recover!Hey Guys, I'm having eye problems at the moment. Have no vision in my left eye. So I can only pop in here for short periods of time. Hopefully it will get better soon. If I need to post, I will but for now I am trying to do anything I can for this eye to heal.
WolfyNatesse and Lu'ah Ardin died and has gone to Sovengarde! Should toss up the relationship with Lu'ah and Ardin but first Natesse and Ardin need to formally meet!
Oh and get better Kitty!
purrsPoor kitty! *scratches behind ears*
No..long story Dabs but I have a disease where my immune system attacks my left eye. It hasn't quite been diagnosed but it is a couple of things; Multifocal Choroiditis with Uveitis. It's hard to explain what happens. But if left untreated I will permanently loose any vision that is damaged during a flare-up. (which is what happened before so I have some permanent vision loss in that eye.) So I have to go on a high dose of Steroids for a few months. Makes me loopy and I can't really see very well out of the eye, but hopefully the meds will get it back under control and dormant. Happens about every 6 months, which is really frustrating because there is nothing I can do to prevent it from happening. It's scary, but I deal with it each time it happens. Is it some kind of infection?
WOOT! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I just got done from eating, so i'll do my best to post. Nothing major, just Baroth practicing with the other prisoners before going to await to be called to a match in the 'pit', as described in my first post. I'm actually not sure who he could fight, so suggestions!
But yea, i'll get to work on that now while I have the inspiration-
JERRY! HEY! NO, I HAD DIBS ON THE REST OF THE TURKEY! I'LL SERIOUSLY CALL MY MOM AND TOTALLY TELL ON YOU! I AM NOT A CHILD! SHUT UP!

Never heard of such a thing... (and I read a lot of medical stuff too) Sounds horrible
I have horrible vision so even though I don't have the same thing you have, every time I wake up in the morning with the bad vision I have, I sometimes think: "Am I going to go blind someday?" My vision keeps getting worse and worse it feels like. Glasses getting thicker and thicker. (though not the huge ones you typically see in movies or comedy shows, or see people wear once in a blue moon while out walking.)
Even if I could go blind (which they say you technically can't with shortsightedness, thank goodness..) I wouldn't have much of a problem as much as living goes. I have 'super sonic' hearing as dad calls it, and I'm very sensitive... to... Touch, I guess? I can sense if a wall is close if I put my hand out about a few inches away. Really weird.
Anyway, I'll post in a bit, and I hope your sights gets a bit better kitty.
I'm sorry to hear about your condition Kitty. I'm blind in my left eye and don't see very well in my right. As in I struggle to read a stop sign across a street and have to get within 6 inches of a book or screen to read it. Up until I was about 18 I took eye drops every night to manage the pressure in my left eye. I have glaucoma and the biggest symptom of that is my left eye would give me chronic pain if I didn't manage it. It has 't bothered me in years and I don't take the drops anymore but it could act up again at any time and it occasionally gives my sharp, severe pain as if there's a splinter in it. That's due to calcium buildup, one of many side effects of my conditions. I'be had over a dozen surgeries in my life and one on my right eye, my only good one, to prevent scar tissue from detaching the retina and me going blind. So I umderstand eye pain lol. Hope that gives you a little perspective
