Ok so the PC release first was a smart move to build a small fan base before releasing on console, sure...but it's very plain to see that TESO is heading down the same crash n burn path as defiance did, there's no offline play at all, and before you smartasses out there respond with "it's elder scrolls ONLINE hurr hurr", I'm aware...but it doesn't mean the game can't have an offline campaign mode, or general character development AT LEAST as large as the skyrim realm, if not encompassing the entire map and allowing the player to level to 50 completely solo, completely offline, and without having to pay a subscription AND/or be online to do so.
There are alot, and I mean ALOT of good old fashion Hack and slash players like myself that LOVED morrowind-skyrim and greatly enjoyed it without ever having to play online, I've personally sunk 3100 hours into skyrim and climbing...no offline mode or primarily online has been a straight up killer for no telling how many console games already, is Bethesda really that stupid to try it? Or is there some miraculous thing that makes them think they will be the exception? Idk, but what I DO know, is that TESO is gonna be a big letdown for ALOT of loyal elder scroll fans just because they don't want to make an offline mode for the game. Just keep your fingers crossed it won't be a title killer. the game looks amazing, the story looks amazing, and the way it's presented up front is just...well, amazing. but it's delivery and features may very well be crippling for elder scrolls fans. lets all hope otherwise.
