PC Xbox controller + PC = No console command?

So, I've got Skyrim legendary edition on steam, but I really prefer using my Xbox 360 controller with it. However there doesn't seem to be any button to push to access the console. Is there any way to mod this in or anything? BTW for those wondering how I'd input the console commands once I'd gotten the console open, I'm working on getting the Xbox 360 chatpad drivers to work XD it's being stubborn but I'll get it... Eventually.

Just hit the Tilde (`) key on your keyboard while playing, this should still bring up the console command interface even when using a controller.

Oh, okay thanks didn't know the keyboard still worked when it was in controller mode XD
