WEREWOLF:
Pros:
-Resist Diseases 100%
-Large speed boost (while in beast form)
-Large strength boost (while in beast form)
-Durability boost (while in beast form)
-Infinite Howl use (while in beast form)
-When you complete the story line for the Companions, you can go on quests to gather the Totems of Hircine.
NOTE: When you pray to these Totems, they give your Howl a different affect. One Totems makes it so that when you press R2, you detect life for 1 minute. Another Totem makes it so that your Howl summons 2 wolves to aid you. And then there's one Totem that sets it back to scaring people when you howl.

Cons:
-Transformation only last 2.5 minutes.
-Only feeding on humans can extend the time
-You can only transform once a day
-The only bonus you have in human form is Disease Resistance
-Weak to Silver Weapons (in beast form)
-Curing it is a permanent cure... So there is no switching back and forth between vampire/werewolf

VAMPIRE:
S#=Stage Number
Pros:
-Resist Disease 100%
-Resist Poison 100%
-Illusion Spells become 25% more powerful
-25% more stealthy when sneaking
-Resist Frost (S1=25%, S2=50%, S3=75%, S4=100%)
-Vampire's Servant: Reanimate a weak dead body to fight for you for 60 seconds once a day (gained at S1, S2=powerful dead body, S4=very powerful dead body)
NOTE: For those who dont know, reanimate is not summoning, it is finding something that is dead and reviving it to serve you for the given time.
-Vampire Sight: Improve night vision for 60 seconds(gained at S1)
-Vampiric Drain: Absorb 2 points of health per second from target(gained at S1, S2=3 points, S3=4 points, S4=5points)
NOTE: This is a spell, so it may be able to be dual equipped, doubling the affect. "Why not just use the Healing Spell?" Because this is attacking and healing at the same time.
-Vampire Seduction: Creatures and people up to level 10 are calmed for 30 seconds(gained at S2)
-Embrace of Shadows: The vampire becomes invisible, with improved night-vision for 180 seconds once a day(gained at S4)
-People don't hate you but they fear you once you get to S3. So in speech, intimidation should be easier.
-No limit to how long you can stay in Vampire form.

Cons:
-25% weaker to fire(S2=50%, S3=75%, S4=100%)
-Health, Magicka, and Stamina do not recover while in sunlight and are reduced by 15 points(S2=30 points, S3=45 points, S4=60 points)
-People will be hostile around you, and may attack you once you reach S4

There are a lot less cons with being a werewolf, but it is ultimately up to how you want to play. I hope the above info helps you in deciding :)

You can be both, but not at the same time. Becoming a werewolf cures Vampirism if you have it and makes you resistant to becoming one afterwards. If you do not like being a werewolf and want to become a vampire, there is a cure. You can only contract lycanthropy ONCE though, so once you cure it, you can never be a werewolf again.
