Every time you turn your head, there's another video game trade show happening in some country. Next up is Paris Games Week in France, which lasts less than a week (false advertising) from October 28 to November 1. Square-Enix will be one of the companies showing off new footage of their games, and they've revealed their full list now.
The first game on the list is a title that coincidentally rhymes with "weird." Nier 2: New Project is what the title from Platinum Games is currently known as, but that's because the dev team says the actual subtitle contains a spoiler they're not ready to reveal yet. Square has said in the past the true title for Nier 2 would be revealed "in the fall." Well, here we are.
The one game everyone wants to know more about is Final Fantasy XV, and Square has promised to deliver on that front with the show floor debut of the new revised demo for the game, titled Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae 2.0. They still plan to get the game out worldwide by the end of 2016.
Square also lists an on-stage debut for a demo of the next Deux Ex game (which is due out in February) and they also plan to preview a previously unseen area from the next Hitman game, which they have promised for March.
