There are plenty of good storylines in the game. Im just curious to which one most people enjoyed. Personally for me it was the Dark Brotherhood story line. I really njoyed the story because it pulled me in and gave me a good experience. The only thing i didn't like about it was the way it kinda left you hanging at the end, not knowing whether or not the Dark Brotherhood would grow back to its former power or slowly fade away. I loved the characters in the story line (except astrid i didn't like her throwing tenets out the window). the missions were great as well, i saw my self getting more and more drawed into the experience with each mission i did.

I like the thieves guild story as well but not nearly as much as the DB story.
    Thats my opinion,whats yours?

To be honest, the Dark Brotherhood storyline was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to short and I don't like how ONCE AGAIN they kill everyone off. I liked the Thieves Guild questline.

Most seemed a bit rushed or shorter than logic would seem to expect, but the DB quest was great in my mind as it was the most complete as it had good times, bad times and personal betrayal. TG had a betrayal element but it was more between other members pasts and you got stuck in the middle.

For Raido's storyline, the Companion's one was most central. After all, he is a warrior and adventurer first and foremost and was lost and looking for meaning after losing his family in his backstory. As Kodlak explained best that being a Companion was all about being a part of a family when most of those in it came to the group after either losing their true family in some way or another. RP-wise, Raido and Kodlak became quite close with Raido seeing Kodlak as a fatherly/mentor type person an Kodlak seeing Raido like a son. The bummer with the quest line is that w/o the mod that lengthens it, it's tough to rationalize how quickly you move to the top ranks after a few fetch quests. I would have also liked there to be more of a relationship with Skjor developed

TG, then DB, then... well, I kind of liked the whole Lost to the Ages questline. I used to love the Companions, but I've done it so many times I could probably do it in my sleep by now. :)

I like the Dark Brotherhood. I just wish they hadn't killed off most of the characters again. I also really like the thieves guild, despite my dislike of Karliah and that you can't side with Mercer. The Companions would be better if it took longer to join the circle, and I didn't really feel connected to the College questline. For both Dawnguard and Dragonborn, I would have preferred more interaction with the villains. We have like one conversation with each of them before you're trying to kill them!

Visually,I think Thieve's Guild has the edge, but overall i'd say Dawnguard is my favorite, havn't done Dragonborn yet but i've seen it and its a close second.

Dragonborn. Feels like an expansion of the main questline, & i liked the whole '3rd faction of dragon war' concept, & how it had you going all over solstheim.

The thieves guild would have been the best in the game if just for the fight with Mercer Frey alone. What a great setting, and the totally unique use of the rising water mechanic at the end? Pretty grand stuff. But even after that it goes the extra mine with the Nocturnal Temple area, with the use of light and shadow. Fun stuff. Breaks up the norm.

It had a fun little mystery story with a bit of back-stabbing and intrigue.

Dawnguard by far. The NPCs for it were by far the most interesting and dynamic. And I enjoyed travelling with Serana before she became so mainstream.

Next is Dragonborn. Miraak had a badas* voice and look to him, and the leadup to the fight was awesome. The fight itself was a let down though. Luckily the Ebony Warrior makes up for it, eh Raido?

Most of the vanilla Skyrim stuff was meh. I enjoyed the main storyline the most because it was my first ES game ever, and the wow factor was just off the scale (the newest game I'd ever played before then was Fallout New Vegas, and even then only years after it came out). The main storyline just blew me away, though it was rather short.

    Three really moved me.

    1. Helping Illia slay her foul mother and then becoming bffs with her and fighting evil.

    2. Helping Erandur kick daedra worshiper/orc butt and then making out with him.

    3. Personally I was very fond of Adrianne since she lived next to me and made most of my gear so when a nasty vamp killed her, my dunmer archer screamed in rage and went all buffy on it, hearing her husband say "I get my wares from the khajit now since I never want to touch her forge" made me join dawnguard tbh. (the quote might be a variation since I can't remember 100%) -Joan

I always thoroughly enjoy the main questline, I know a lot of people don't but it introduces some of my favorite characters like Alduin and Odahviing and it takes me to some pretty awesome places like Skuldafn and Sovngarde.

I enjoyed the College of Winterhold questline to be honest. I know that people say it is bland and "eh", but I found that some of the levels were really well designed and interesting, especially Under Saarthal and The Staff of Magnus. The staff being conveniently held by a very powerful Dragon Priest, and if the priest did not get glitched, than could be a real pain in the butt.

For me, I'm pretty much stuck with two choices: College of Winterhold or DB. They both ended sadly with most of the important characters dying. In DB, it was Commander Maro who wiped out almost all the members of the Dark Brotherhood, because you killed his son. The part that Im pretty sure everybody got angry at, was when Astrid tells you that she made a deal with Maro in exchange for your life that the DB would be spared. Well... we all know that did'nt happen. Than in the Collage of Winterhold, the main story line revolved around the Eye of Magnus. So you go off to do some pretty cool quests, kill a Dragon Priest, Expolre a dungon. And while your doing all of this, the high elf from the Thalmor is actually
spying on you and the eye. And in the end, he kills the Arch mage (principal) and an other importent lady. So pretty much he takes control of the eye and the incident of Winterhold is about to happen all over again, and apperntly your the only guy who can save the town. So you kill him and you become the Arch Mage. So.... I felt more for the DB storyline, but the storyline of the college suprised me. I was'nt expecting anybody importent dying. I knew the elf dude was going to turn ape pl*ps eventually but I did'nt expect him to kill anyone. They're both good strorylines but I would have to pick DB. I just hate it how it was short though.

The Dark Brotherhood is waaaaaayyyyyyy down the list for me, it was good, killing an emperor etc etc, but it wasn't as good as oblivion.

Dawnguard is by far the best I have seen, both sides, not exactly the way it ends though, it does kind of leave you in the dust at the end of the vampires side, I would have liked to see a few different things added to skyrim when you block out the sun, for instance, a bunch of vampires come out of nowhere and attack the open villages/cities (Morthal, Dawnstar, falkreath, rorikstead, dragonbridge etc) but the vampires get killed, it would still look cool and some of the vampires from castle volkihar are found roaming skyrim. And even battles between vampires and dawnguard like you see between stormcloaks and the legion.

Then it would be the 'Dragonborn' story, but again, I still felt left in the dust without knowing a great deal about miraak.

Dawngaurd was rather short would'nt you agree? I love it that it added new random encounters and crossbows and the hot Serena, but for me Dawngaurd felt to short. I have'nt tried it from the vampire's side though.

The dawnguard side was short, haven't actually played it in a while but the vampires do have one extra quest which is pretty cool and decently long enough.

All of Skyrim storylines were good, I give you that.
But hey, I got one that I really liked, It's the Forsworn Conspiracy at Markarth
I really liked the way that we first just poking around into someone else's business like usual, but then everything turns out to be a massive problem.
The way the conspiracy unfold is very good, we could just kill Madanach and escape on our own from Cidhna Mine.
To be honest I really panicked when I got thrown in the prison, haha :D
And the escape, together with all this forsworn that you can't really trust, I like the fact that I have to fight those spiders with a shiv
That escape event will make another unforgettable moment in Markarth, I remember that I just grin all the time when we mess up the town. And we actually could made some friends with The King in Rags.

And I liked the main storyline too, I'm really amazed how they make the Dragonborn we all play felt so.. legendary

DB and TG on a stalemate. Both of them are similar in some scenarios(betrayal, finding out stuff, becoming favored by some daedric god, etc) but I can't help to love the way they turn out.

I have to agree with Afazha, the Forsworn Conspiracy has just 2 quests but they are the two most rich quests(in terms of packed story) in the entire game.
