So sorry it took so long to get this up, but it takes awhile for research! And I hope you enjoy the map!

NOTE : The Map is not completely accurate. I will correct its flaws in the descriptions. Also, on this map, green marks the spot.

Winterhold :

Frozen Mammoth can be found if you start at Aftland and go directly north. It is kind of in between Saarthal and Hob's Fall Cave, but a bit lower. Hob's Fall Cave should be where you see Frostflow Lighthouse on the map above. "What is it", you ask? Well, it's a mammoth frozen into the side of a glacier.

The Dwarven Altar is located in between Wayward Pass and Mount Anthor. It's pretty accurate on the map above. It looks pretty cool, but apparently there isn't much known about it. Be careful because of the Ice Wraiths. 2x Chest, Mine-able quicksilver ore.

Ancient Altar is perched above the Sightless Pit, technically southeast of its location. It isn't far at all from Sightless Pit. The map above is almost precise. This location is what appears to a be an ancient sacrificial altar. Along with the piles of bones are the Skill Book Conjuration : The Doors of Oblivion, and other sacrificial offerings. Note: if you touch anything, it will resurrect the two piles of bones and the skeleton on the altar.

The Trap can be found if you were to start at the College of Winterhold and go directly south. Stop to look for it in between the two giant glaciers and examine along the shore. Again, the map above is accurate. There you will find two brittle skeletons. A triggered bear trap gives you an idea why that was their resting place.

The Avalanched Caravan is an unfortunate natural disaster that happened to a caravan. There is just some loose gear there. On the map above, Mount Anthor should be a little higher. To pinpoint its location, draw an imaginary line in the middle of Mount Anthor stretching east. Do the same for the Shrine of Azura, except stretch it south. At the exact point they meet, that is where it's located.

The Reach : I have found nothing here that catches the eye! Their are some interesting crashed Dwemer ruins, but that's it! Sorry to disappoint.

Whiterun :

Necromancer's Altar is found if you start at Sleeping Tree Camp and start heading directly east. You're going to run into it. It's an ancient altar that rests on top of a rocky buff. It appears that two skeletons have slain their masters. Kill those boneheads and collect some loose gear.

Whiterun's Smuggler Den. Hehe, second one I found. It can be found just North of Whiterun. You can find Skill Book Pickpocket : Aevar Stone-Sing , an adept locked chest, and some potions.

The Eastmarch :

Hunter's Sauna is another one of my great discoveries. You can find it if you start at Eldergleam Sanctuary and barely go southeast. There are some hunters bathing in the natural sauna. They're friendly unless they catch you stealing their stuff. You can steal some loose gear and Skill Book Smithing : Cherim's Heart .

The Mournful Giant is a poor ol' giant waiting around by his dead mammoth. It's northeast of Mistwatch.

Falkreath : Just some crashed caravans and bandit camps here. Nothing really to catch the eye.

The Rift :

Animal's Cage is in the woods east of Fort Greenwall. There is a wolf inside the rusty cage. Open the cage and the trappers attack. Help fend them off with the wolf. If the wolf survives, it flees to a nearby wolf den.

The Chicken Reanimated is found north and slightly east of Ruins of Btlalft. A strange robed man is attempting to reanimate a chicken, and succeeds. As you draw closer, he attacks you. You will find ingredients on him.

The Burning Farmhouse is self explanatory. It is located southeast of Forelhost.

Hope you Enjoyed it guys!! Be looking forward to more of my articles. Special thanks to treasurehunter for copy editing this article. - VolenKiller

The mammoth was pretty funny to go look at. It reminded me of the movie Ice Age

I just found the undead chicken altar the other day. Most random thing I've ever seen. After I killed the necromancer, I found three undead chickens wandering around the area. One by one, they dropped dead of their own volition and I was able to loot their meat. I considered cooking my character some undead chicken breast for dinner, but ultimately decided, that of all the unsanitary things she's eaten, twice-dead chicken was probably was probably among the worst.

There are LOTS of interesting little finds.

Last night I found two "fairy circles". Rings of mushrooms.
One in on the ridge north east of the Twilight Sepulcher, it is a small circle of white mushrooms (forget which type) an in it there is a blood spatter, skull, skll book and uhm... something else I can't remmber now. There's also a shrine on one of them look out overhangs. To find the location, there's a trail just south of ther Roadside Ruins that heads west. When you pass a burning caravan head up into the clearing and a little north west.

The other ring, was much larger and made of several types of mushrooms. It was on the hillside southwest of Fort Sungard next to a dragon mound.

I like this map and use it for basic finding of places, but yeah, there are a LOT of misplaced things.

Also, in the area around Gjukar's Monument, Broken Fang Cave, Swindler's Den there are two or three shrines that are close to each other but not noticable from the roads.

That is very interesting. I do not think I have found that! I have how ever found a circle of all different kinds of mushrooms

Thanks, it would be even better if you could put numbers on the map markers so you can easily refer to them in your description.

Flint, you're lucky this popped up on my email. I literally just retired from the site. Honestly, Dude, ask Rayven or Renegader (Admin/Mod) to be article writer, I'm done. I pass my title, "The Idealist" , to you. Make a "Unique and Unmapped Places to Visit Part 4" !! . Find more / new places. I suggest using the map that some one suggested to me on a comment for my first Unique and Unmapped places to visit. To mark the places like I did, I would download GIMP and play around with that. Also, any further editing, TH ( Treasurehunter) and Rayven will help you. Good luck.
