Yismir's Beard
New Member
What's up everyone? I am Yismir's Beard (yes, his beard, all hairy and full of cooked horker grease stains) and I need some advice for my Skyrim true Nord character build. I am just starting a new build as a Nord (of course) named Jornwulf -YORN-woolf- and I decided to make him as honorable and as true that a nord can be, and then some. Have Talos like status. I just have ONE major problem that I can use some RP advice on, but before we get to that, I will explain my character a bit.
Jornwulf was originally born in Skyrim and lived a decent childhood living on a farm with his mother and father. Growing up with the tension between the Aldmeri Dominion and the Empire (along with bandits), Jornwulf's parents thought it was not a world for a child to be raised in and decided to send young Jornwulf to Cyrodill to live with his aunt. Stuck in the Imperial Legion and with stubborn Nordic pride, his parents stayed. Years past and young Jornwulf grew into a strong man with a fire burning in his soul. He decided to return to his homeland to, well, live in the land he was born, it was a strange inside calling. Of course you know that Jornwulf was caught crossing the boarder. Barely escaping Helgan, Jornwulf decided to Join the Empire as his parents once did and s.erve with honor, valor, and patriotism. After the war and highly decorated Legate, Jornwulf will go on to join the companions and become the leader no too long after.
Now, to my problem. I want Jornwulf to serve the NINE devines and maybe become a priest later on. I do NOT want to serve or become the 'champion' of a daedric prince. I do NOT want to become a thief. I AM going to kill the dark brotherhood and I might join the College at a later time.
With that out the way, I can say that I can avoid serving a daedric price fairly easy, though it can take a lot of expierence out of the game and coin too. The one thing that gets in the way, is old Herma-Mora. See, I want to jump my skills up for the Path of Might and the Oghma Infinium is a very useful daedric artifact, but I don't want to become Herma's servant. Not only that, but I have to come into contact with him TWICE. I want my character to go to Sovrngarde and sit with the great heroes. To sit beside Galmar Stone-Fist and Ulfric and joke about how I chopped their heads off in the mortal world, to drink mead with them and fight them in friendly battle. To see Legate Rikke and sing about glories of battle. To stand beside Kodlak and previous companions. But becoming Herma's servant can have my wishes and soul taken to his plain of Oblivion. But also, maybe becoming very honorable and serving the devines as a warrior and Dragonborn (a gift given by the gods) and possibly as a priest (but eventually die in battle) can earn me a spot beside the greatest warriors. I know you can call Herma a demon and that you don't serve him, but he acts like a pedo and says that I want in and he loves me with all his heart and protection, but I don't believe it.
Maybe I'm looking too much into this.
So, what do you all think?
