This week the first season of Life is Strange (you know what's also strange? Referring to a video game in "season" terms) was released in physical form for the Playstation 4. The compilation of chapters, originally released digitally in 2015, is offered both by itself (for $29.99) and in Limited Edition form with an artbook and soundtrack (for $39.99, not bad either way).

Now the scholarship contest featured in the game, Everyday Heroes, is being made into a reality. Square is holding a real-life photography contest with the prize of $10,000 in scholarship money. To enter, head to the contest webpage and upload a photo of your own making, featuring a title and an explanation of why the subject of the photo is an "everyday hero." In addition to the scholarship, winners will also receive special recognition from Square Enix and developer Dontnod Entertainment on their ocial media channels. They'll also get their photos framed and signed by the developers at Dontnod.

This isn't the first real-world work of charity that Square has used the LiS brand name to promote. They've also started an anti-bullying campaign with PACER that utilizes the game's characters to raise awareness of bullying and promote prevention.
