[Request] Advice on mods for a blacksmith playthrough

I'm looking to start a play through as a blacksmith, but want some mods to help with immersion and difficulty. The idea is I would start as a poor blacksmith, 'quest' for resources and craft/trade my way up until I'm the richest and most skilful blacksmith in the land.

So what would you guys recommend? I think some survival mods for when I'm out mining ore or something, and some new recipes would be good. I seem to remember seeing a mod a while ago that added more shops, which would also be useful. Other than that, I'm just not aware enough of what's out there.

This is amazing, thank you! That first one looks like loads of fun! I had to stop playing Skyrim about a year or so ago because I didn't have the DLCs and the best mods all required them. Finally, though, I picked up the legendary edition and I'm ready to mod it up!
