I would really like an answer. How do I get to be able to marry? I know I have to find some Amulet, but how and where?

Go to the Temple of Mara in Riften and speak to the priest named Maramal and talk to him about marriage and it will open a dialogue option to purchase an Amulet of Mara from him. Find a person that likes you and put the Amulet on and ask them to marry you. Skyrim recognizes marriage equality so your spouse can be male or female regardless of your gender.
