I like to take the approach of a "life student". My character might join the companions as someone who wants to start adventuring but wants to first learn the basics of melee combat. My character wants to learn all there is to know about the world around them. They may desire to step into the shoes of a vampire AND a werewolf-- in any order.
This is exactly how my current character, a Breton, is being played. He joined The Companions and eventually The Circle as well. He loves the rush of the hunt. As a Breton/Man-mer, whom of which only live to see ~50-60 years, he may end up considering life undead (Vampire), as a means to fulfill his goal in his own education and experience.
I'd like to see your own stories!
