PC [help] I have an odd fast travel bug

As I was playing classic Skyrim with mods I encountered a really odd issue - clicking the map markers that I have discovered on the map doesn't do anything and as a result I can't fast travel.

Also whenever I try to interact with an npc (rent a room/brawl/etc) they don't respond in any way. Though they do allow me to trade.

Both of these problems though mysteriously dissapear the moment I load an older save but the moment I start making progress in the game I have to backtrack all the way to said old save to resolve this issue.

I then tried to clean up my saves (tried two different save cleaning tools) and none of them found any orphan files.

I also tried getting rid of my 3D world map mod and I still have the problem.

have you tried a new game... i found out thats the best way to fix issues when mess'n with LO... not sure if your cleaning tools takes care of needing to start a new game
