Hey everyone out there, if you've finished the thieves guild quests and haven't gotten the black guild masters armor here's why, you have to restore the Theives Guild to its former glory, and you do that by completing extra work for Vex or Delvin. When you finish 5 secondary quests in each of the main holds such as Whiterun, Solitude, Riften, Windhelm, and Markarth you will be given a special quest each time you complete the 5 quests in one hold when you go to Delvin he will give you an special job to be done for a main contact in that hold, complete it and new members will come to the theives guild and a new merchant will be there after the first special job. after you complete all special jobs talk to Brnyolf about becoming guild master, there will be a small ceremony and you will be given the guild master armor. I suggest you keep doing the number jobs to get it done faster. Hope this helps, Later
