Dawnguard downloaded glitch

I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place...(my first post in these forums). So i downloaded dawnguard but when it finished downloading it keeps popping up that the download is complete. it started to get annoying so i turned off my notifications and i can still play the dlc but its stopping all my other downloads from starting. I have tried canceling the download but it said some sort of error message, can anyone help?

I think it's just because MS server's are overloaded. I'm having the same problem, I'm going to wait it out. If that doesn't work I'd try deleting the game-wiping cache and re-install.

Is it gunna come on disc?

I read somewhere that it might be a while if/before they release it on disc. Depending on how many DLC's they do.
