A decade has passed since the Dragon Crisis and civil war that almost tore Skyrim apart. The dragonborn disappeared shortly after Alduin was banished, but few knew where he went. Some say he died of his wounds. Others, that he went to spend the rest of his days with the Greybeards, up at the throat of the world. Whatever the case may be, he has not been seen nor heard from in the years since.

Skyrim managed to win its' independence, at high cost. Ulfric Stormcloak sits on the throne at Windhelm, while imperial legionnaires and stormcloak soldiers watch each other from the borders. While Skyrim may officially be at peace, strange happenings have occurred of late. Travelers vanish on the roads, never to be seen again. Bandit camps are discovered ransacked, but no bodies are found. Perhaps most disturbing of all, is that people, sometimes whole families, go missing overnight. Whether they lived inside walled settlements like Whiterun and Windhelm, or small villages like Riverwood and Rorikstead, the dissapearances are uniform. In taverns, late at night, there are whispers of a darkness...an evil that lurks beneath the land, waiting to strike.

Guards are on edge, helpless to prevent these events, despite increased security and patrols. The High King has demanded these disappearances be halted. To that end, a call for mercenaries has gone out, instructing that the mercenaries, cut throats, and would be heroes assemble at Dragonsbridge, the sight of the last disappearing family.

    Rules

    +++
1: Obvious, but no godmodding; overpowered weapons, armours, and abilities are out.

2: Keep insults, racism, threats to in character writing. Anything else will be met with instant expulsion.

    3: Proper grammar and spelling.

4: No shouts or shout like abilities. The Dragonborn, the last dragonborn, has long since vanished.

5: 18+ means adult themes, such as sex, gore and swearing may/will be present.

6: Tying in with the above rule, keep it classy. If your characters are determined to f-ck, it may be best to cut to black if you're not sure how to write the scene.

7: Another obvious one, but no taking control of another writers' character(s). Permission must be granted.

8: I would prefer to keep this group small to average. No more than eight people will be accepted (if there are indeed that many interested) and no more than ten characters.

    General Information
    Name:
    Thoras Lorian

Age- 98, appears mid twenties, due to elvish aging.

    Sex- Male

    Race- Dunmer

    Class- Arcane Hunter (anti-mage warrior).

    Sexuality- Heterosexual

    Marital Status- Single

    Laterality- Ambidextrous

    Afflictions- None

    Religion- Azura

Appearance- Thoras Lorian, despite his name, is a dunmer with dark grey skin, not quite black, but dark enough to pass for it in dim light. His hair is black, and braided with strings of gold and silver thread. He is not very muscular, but he is lean and clearly in shape. He has a thin, knife like nose, and his ears are typically elvish. His right ear has a golden earring, studded with three rubies. His eyes are his most spectacular feature; rather than the crimson of most dunmer, his are an icy blue.

Swirling tattoos cover the lower half of his face, crimson swirls that that cover his jaw and cheeks, then trail down either side of his neck. The tattoo continued down the upper half of his back, where it forms a dragon, coiled in on itself. Scars criss cross his torso, clearly from combat. He both of his forearms, are scarred. However, these do not seem self inflicted or caused by battle. Rather, it seems these were inflicted on him. Some of the scars are crooked, as if Thoras moved while the process was ongoing.

    Gear

Armor- Thoras does not wear a lot of armour. Instead, he wears light leather on his shoulders and torso, offering some protection during battle. Over this, he wears a long coat of deep purple, lined with gold thread. The coat offers little actual protection against blades or bolts, but offers protection against most basic spells. He wears a pair of knee high leather boots, the same type that he has on his shoulders and chest.

Weapons- A steel glaive, the shaft itself is made of sturdy oak, and wrapped with leather. The shaft is just under a meter long, while the blade is exactly half a meter. The blade curves ever so slightly, and is good for slashing/chopping and stabbing attacks. A dozen throwing knives he keeps hidden in the pockets of his coat.

    Known Spells-N/A

Misc. gear (clothing/jewellery/etc.)- A pair of ruby studded gold earrings. He wears a ring on each finger, all but one are gold and silver. One ring, is made of a dark material, seemingly ebony, and set with a sapphire. Within, a faint silvery glow can be seen, if someone looks close enough. Under his armour he wears a long sleeved shirt of deep red. His pants are made of black cloth. Around his neck, he wears an amulet with Azuras' sigil on it.

    Personality-
Thorian is a mysterious figure, but rather than being cold and stern, he prefers to bedazzle those closest to him with fantastic tails about his past, and slight mistruths that lead people to believe something that isn't exactly true. However, he prefers to not outright lie, and he will never say or do something that would endanger his companions. While used to traveling alone, Thorian is quick to introduce himself, though his eccentric mannerisms put the common folk on edge as often as they do charm them. He is quick with a smile and joke, though he possesses a fierce some focus when in combat or serious situations.

Likes- Wine, women, stories, mysteries, travel.

Dislikes- Prisons, mages, boredom, undead and tyrants.

Combat Preference- Thorian fights with astonishing speed, considering his weapon. He prefers to be in the midst of the fight, where he can cause maximum chaos. He prefers his glaive, but is more than capable of using his hands and feet to cripple opponents, and will slip a knife in where he can.

Background- Thorian, as his name might suggest, was not born in morrowind, nor did he have dunmeri parents. In fact, he knows very little of his dark elf background. Found abandoned in the streets of Chorrol, Thorian was raised by a kindly imperial couple. He spent his early days in the city, and quickly revealed himself as something of a prankster. He also discovered that he had something of wanderlust, never content to be sitting and reading when he could be outside.

As he aged, he began to take long walks outside the city, often slipping back in just before nightfall. Soon, though, that ceased to sate his hunger for adventure. Shortly after his eighteenth birthday, he left home, becoming an adventurer. He quickly fell in with a small group that traveled Cyrodiil, seeking bandits and monsters to slay. They did much good, and were welcome in every city from Leyawiin to Bruma.

It was not long before they met their match attempting to clear a ruin of necromancers. The groups spell caster was quickly overwhelmed, and the others wounded or captured. Thorian was tortured by the victorious necromancers, but while his body was cut and beaten, his spirit was unbroken. One late night, he broke free of his bonds, and reclaimed his gear after slaying his guard.

He had nearly escaped when he was confronted by his companions. As undead husks. Despairing, Thorian cut down his old friends and fled. The ordeal left deep scars on his mind and body, but his resolve remained solid. He wandered on his own, hunting evil mages and other lawless characters. The notice of disappearances in Skyrim draws his attention, and he quickly made the decision to leave his homeland behind, seeking justice and adventure.

I know I wasn't in the original Forgotten, but both @Rafen and I have an interest in this. Would it be alright if our characters knew each other from before the beginning of the story?

    General Information
    Name:
    Dren Ikaris

    Age- 23

    Sex- Male

    Race- Breton

    Class- Spellsword (technically)

    Sexuality- Heterosexual

    Marital Status- Single

    Laterality- Right handed

    Afflictions- Post traumatic stress disorder.

    Religion- None

Appearance- Despite his young age, Dren has a rugged and worn appearance, and more often than not, his shoulders are slumped and his head is down. He is pale, with dark green eyes, and light brown hair that doesn't quite fall down to his shoulders. His torso is covered in burn scars, as are his lower arms. However the scars are very old. Strange, considering how young he is. His lower jaw is usually covered in several days of beard growth. He has no tattoos or jewelery.
    Gear

Armor- Leather armour over his torso, and he wears fingerless leather gloves. His boots are also leather, though somewhat reinforced, both for protection and to hold up over long journeys. Over this, he wears a tattered, dark brown robe.

Weapons- A steel bastard sword, that he keeps close at hand at all times.

Known Spells- Several adept and apprentice destruction spells, though he will refrain from using them if at all possible.

Misc. gear (clothing/jewellery/etc.)- A very tattered and dirty hooded cloak that he wears wherever he goes, when not in combat. A simple tan tunic, and brown trousers.

Personality- Dren is extremely anti social, anxious, and somber. He will avoid crowds if he can, and won't give his opinion on a matter unless it will effect him personally or he is pressed. Refuses to reveal his past to anyone, even if he does regard them as a friend. Despite his serious and isolated demeanour, he is extremely loyal to his traveling companion, the khajiit woman known as Zarr. He feels that he owes his life to her, and wherever she goes, he will not be far.

    Likes- Solitude, silence, Zarr, gold

Dislikes- Crowds, nosy people, fire, magic, prison.

Combat Preference- He is best suited on the front line, fighting alone, but he can fit in with a group in the heat of combat. He relies solely on the bastard sword that he carries, and will not use magic unless the situation is extremely dire.

Background- Shrouded in mystery. Somehow he ended up in an imperial prison, alongside Zarr. They escaped to Skyrim, and have been looking over their shoulders ever since.

Note: I do have a proper backstory written out, but I would very much wait and reveal it to our group gradually, rather than post it up here.

    General Information
    Name: Sothas Abrium

    Age- 37

    Sex- Male

    Race- Argonian

    Class- Bulwark/Warrior

    Sexuality- Heterosexual

    Marital Status- Single

    Laterality- Ambidextrous

    Afflictions- None

    Religion- Eight Divines

Appearance- Fitting with his name, most of Sothas' scales are a dark grey, with the exception of those on the underside of his jaw, throat and lower torso. A pair of long, six inch horns curve backwards from the back of his skull. Inch long bone growths line either side of his jaw, lending him a rather draconic appearance. His turqoise eyes and slit pupil stand out against the dark scale of his head, and make them and obvious target. A long, jagged scar stretches from the corner of his right eye to the base of his jaw.

Due to the extreme endurance required to move and fight with his gear, Sothas is very muscled, though as mentioned, not very agile. He is just over two metres tall, (6' 1"), making him even more intimidating, even out of his armour. Out of armour, he weighs just shy of 200 lbs. Burn scars mark his right arm, from the elbow up to the shoulder. His tail has acquired several small scars over the course of his career.

    Gear

Armor- Sothas dons heavy plate to wade into battle. It is slightly darker than your average steel plate, with noticable reinforcement to the torso and shoulder area. At the arms and legs, he is covered with chainmail, and underneath, thin leather to absorb and dissipate blows. Only his head and tail are exposed, which he uses his shield to protect during battle. With all this heavy plate and mail, it is understandable that Sothas is more of a stationary fighter, and moves slower than most of his companions. He's conditioned himself to be able to maintain a good pace when on the march, but most enemies will see him as a tempting target for ranged weaponry.

His shield, though not armour in the sense that he wears it, is an important part of his gear. A concave construction, with a thin layer of steel on the outside, covering sturdy wooden planks, with a layer of leather on the inside. A pair of horizontal grips, centered on the interior of the shield, and several inches apart, allow him to lift and wield it in combat. An iron boss is centered, allowing for punching actions. A thick leather strap allows him to carry it across his back when not in combat.

Weapons- Sothas wields a hand and a half sword, that brings to mind images of a cleaver, rather than an actual combat blade. It curves very slightly, with a flared tip, perfect for hewing through flesh and sinew. It is on this side of the weapon that has the edge. The material is a hybrid between steel and orichalcum, making the blade surprisingly durable. The large argonian is strong enough to wield the weapon one handed, freeing up his other hand to wield his tower shield.

    Known Spells- None.

Misc. gear (clothing/jewellery/etc.) He carries rations and a couple of healing potions in a small satchel at his belt.

Personality- If one were to judge Sothas by just his appearance, they would assume him to be a vicious, careless killer. This could not be further from the truth. Though he enjoys a good fight, he also cares deeply about others, and will throw himself into danger for his companions or innocents. He believes in upholding the law, so long as the law doesn't oppress the people. He is eager to engage others in conversation, whether it be about battle tactics or simply idle talk.

Likes- Helping others, seeing justice done, making friends, defending the weak.

    Dislikes-Tyrants, racists, murderers.

Combat Preference- Sothas is best described as a glacier in combat. Strong and slow. Everything about his fighting style emphasizes pure power, at the cost of speed and maneuverability. When battle is joined, he brings up his shield, allowing it to absorb blows, while hacking and slashing at the enemy with his sword. From the front, he is all but immune to arrow fire. However, he is vulnerable to being outmaneuvered by fast opponents, and a group working together can easily surround and defeat him. When facing the enemy, especially in a confined space, his victory is all but assured.

If, he should by choice or coincidence lose his shield, or be unable to use it, he switches to a savage, two handed fighting style. Almost every blow will be an overhand chop, allowing him to crush through weaker enemy defences. He incorporates his tail as well, throwing spinning slashes into his attacks, whacking enemies and throwing them off balance, before delivering death with his blade. He can fight in hand to hand combat, and is strong enough to do some serious damage, but he prefers his weapon and will, obviously, use it the sword, rather than his fists.

Background- As his name would suggest, Sothas was not born in Black Marsh. He was raised by a blacksmith and his wife in the Cyrodiilic city of Leyawiin. When he was old enough, his adoptive father took Sothas as an apprentice blacksmith, teaching him how to forge and repair arms and armour, as well as more mundane objects. A few years later, both of the argonians' parents' came down with a persistent sickness. With Sothas unable to help, both passed away. With no reason to stay, he closed the family smithy, and left the city behind.

Without much purpose, Sothas wandered from city to city, offering his smithing services to those that could pay. Eventually, he joined up with the fighters' guild, who accepted such a capable smith with open arms. For several years, Sothas took jobs for the guild, and in that time, he developed his unique fighting style. The argonian left the guild after a spectacularly botched job saw nearly a dozen innocents massacred. This was also when he acquired the burn scars on his arm, trying to save those he could.

Once again, he became a wanderer, offering both his smithing and fighting skills. It was during a job to clear out a bandit den that he met his friend and companion, the dunmer woman Aylira Taliir. He saved her life, at the expense of a vicious wound that nearly blinded him. The two became fast friends after that time.

    Dialogue color(s)-Mint Green

    General Information
    Name:Aylira Taliir

    Age-29

    Sex-Female

    Race- Dunmer

    Class- Assassin

    Sexuality-Bisexual

    Marital Status-Single

    Laterality-Ambidextrous

    Afflictions- None

    Religion- Eight Divines

Appearance- A slender woman, with moderate curves, but obviously well muscled. Her hair is long and black, drawn into a ponytail. She is about average height for a dunmer, (5'6"), and weighs just over a hundred pounds, soaking wet. She's collected several scars over the years, but they only serve to lend a harsh beauty to her features.
    Gear

Armor- Aylira wears a mishmash of leather and steel. Though mostly made of leather, allowing swift and silent movement, for the most part, the dunmer rogues' shoulders, and forearms are covered by steel armour. The armour protecting her torso is reinforced with steel, but it's predominantly leather. Her boots are soft soled, allowing for stealthy movement, even on hard surfaces.

Weapons-A dozen throwing knives, stored in a bandolier that crosses from her right shoulder to her left hip. For close combat, she wields a short bladed sickle sword, and a long, curving dagger.

    [IMG][IMG]

    Known Spells-None

Misc. gear (clothing/jewellery/etc.)- Whetstones, potions of healing in a belt pouch, and several poison vials in an opposite pouch.

Personality- A sarcastic, introverted woman, Aylira is not looking to make friends. She'll happily betray those she works with if she thinks it will get her and those close to her closer to their goal. She believes strongly in paying back debts, though, and if she gives her word, she'll stick to it. Whether she honours it without complaining is something else.

    Likes- Gold. Sothas. Annoying others.

Dislikes-Lawmen, strict rules, deep bodies of water.

Combat Preference-Aylira prefers to commence her attack from the shadows, with ranged attacks. She is a skilled archer, but her real skill lays in the use of her sickle bladed khopesh, which she took off a redguard bandit leader early in her career. Where Sothas is a stationary, powerful fighter, who relies on his reach, shield and armour to stay alive, Aylira is the opposite.

She is in constant movement, opening an artery or slashing a muscle before moving on. When forced to stand and fight, she uses her two blades in tandem, opening up the opponents guard with one blade, and finishing them off with the other. However, Aylira is best suited to fight on the edges of an engagement, picking off archers, mages, and harrying reinforcements, while the more heavily armed folks draw their attention.

Background- Born to a simple family in Skyrim, Aylira spent most of her early days on her own. She resented the nords lording it over her people, and often dreamt of leaving Skyrim far behind. As she grew older, she actively began pursuing that goal. Thieving from wealthy nord families and storing the money away for her eventual departure. For over a year she did this, never being caught or suspected. The one first time she was caught, was also the first time she took a life.

Rather than feelings of guilt or horror at her actions, she found she enjoyed it. When the civil war broke out, she offered her services as a freelance assassin to the empire. With each kill, she grew in experience, revising her techniques until she could complete an assignment without anyone noticing she'd been there, the only evidence being the cooling body she left behind.

Between assassinating rebels, the empire began hiring her to go after the leaders of the more troublesome bandit groups. Though she enjoyed success for quite some time, it wasn't long before a small group of wiser bandits got together, and set up a trap. A contract was placed on one of the group, and the others lay in wait. When Aylira arrived to carry out the killing, she was ambushed and overwhelmed. If not for Sothas' timely intervention, she would have met her end at their hands. Since that day, she has traveled at Sothas' side, determined to repay him for saving her life.

Arcane Hunter is kind of a mix between a rogue and witch hunter. A bit of a homebrew of mine, he's basically built towards hunting mages, but he's also capable against normal people. I can change, if you want.

    General Information
    Name: Balgur Nar Shadat

    Age- 47

    Sex- Male

    Race- Orc

    Class- Soldier/warrior

    Sexuality- Heterosexual

    Marital Status- Widowed

    Laterality- Right handed

    Afflictions- N/A

    Religion- Malacath

Appearance- A sturdily built orc since he was a youngling, life in the imperial army has refined his bulk into a finely tuned soldier. His skin is a dark green and his head is shaven but he has a short beard, shaved to regulation length, of dark hair. His bushy eyebrows overshadow a pair of hazel colored eyes. A savage scar marks the right side of his head, and he's missing the top of his left ear. A pair of short tusks jut out of his lower lip. His posture seems to be always at rigid attention, making him seem taller than his five feet, seven inches.
    Gear

Armor- In the custom of the legion, he was allowed to keep his heavy legionnaires' armor after retiring from the service. The steel is heavy, but years of marching in it have made him nearly immune to its' weight, and he appreciates the superior protection. He has swapped out his legion helm for an open faced steel one, complaining that the imperial helmet obscured his peripheral vision. The armor is scratched and dented in places, but it has obviously been loved and well maintained. On his left arm, he wears a broad, rectangular shield with an iron boss, and the sigil of the imperial legion on the top and bottom halves.

Weapons- In the orchish tradition, he forged his own personal weapon. Unlike most orcs though, he crafted the haft from ash wood, and the blade and crossguard from orichalcum. The blade of the spear is about fifteen inches in length, and the cross guard four inches on either side of the blade. The haft of the weapon is about five feet long. He was permitted to keep his legion gladius as well, which he keeps at his side as a backup weapon.

    Known Spells- Absolutely none.

Misc. gear (clothing/jewellery/etc.) A plain white tunic and rough woven pants that would look more in place on a farmer than a soldier. In a small backpack, he carries several whetstones, cloths for cleaning polishing his weapon and armor, and preserved fruit and meats, suitable for a long march. On his right hand is an old, plain ring, possible made from gold.

Personality- Balgur is a gruff, no nonsense, grizzled old soldier and he acts the part. He doesn't trust or particularly like mages or rogues, but he can respect their usefulness and contributions to a battle. Outside of battles, he is often quite and solemn, keeping to himself either in reflection or caring for his gear. He is slow to trust but once he does, he is a steadfast friend. Unfortunately, he also has a habit of leaping to conclusions, something that might anger his companions.

Likes- Well laid out plans, solitude.

Dislikes- People who can't obey orders, thieves, mages.

Combat Preference- Anchoring a line and shouting orders to his comrades, like he once did in the legion. His sturdy armor means he can take some punishment before being in any real danger. He stabs over the top of his shield with his spear or gladius, but becomes a little more vulnerable should he lose the shield.

Background- Growing up in the stronghold of Largashbur, he left to make his own fortunes in Skyrim. He met and married a young orc woman fairly young and within a few months of their small wedding in a clearing north east of Riften, his wife, Umalra, was pregnant. Unfortunately, there were problems during the birth, and Umalra died shortly after Balgurs' son was born. Unable or perhaps unwilling to care for the boy himself, he dropped him with relatives at his old stronghold, and enlisted in the imperial legion.

All of Balgurs pay went to his relatives in Largashbur, to pay for his sons' upbringing. When the civil war broke out in Skyrim, Bulgar was constantly worried for his kin. However, he served admirably in the war, and was placed in charge of a small unit of soldiers and was wounded twice in skirmishes around Riften. After the war was over, Balgur retired from the legion, wanting a chance to see his son, having realized how quickly one could have their life stolen away.

As he approached Largashbur, he hesitated and wondered if he would even recognize his son, and was sure the boy wouldn't know him. Within a stones' throw of the stronghold of his child hood and his son, he turned tail and headed for Riften. He continued to send payments, supporting himself by working as a blade for hire.

    Dialogue color(s)- Brown/Bronze.

Well this sure filled up fast. Might have my card up later tonigbt or tomorrow morning.

    Name: Kaliir Dihvaasa

    Age- 28

    Sex- Female

    Race- Khajiit

    Class- Nightblade

    Sexuality- Heterosexual

    Marital Status- Single

Laterality- Right handed, but uses both for her sword.

    Afflictions- None

    Religion- None

Appearance- Kaliir is mostly a dark grey in colouration, with a streak of tan fur at her throat and running down between her breasts, and ending at her waist. She has a very lean build, but not so thin as to appear starved or unattractive. Her eyes are a pale green. She's not very tall (5' 4") and often raises a few eyebrows when she walks into a place with her sword over her shoulder.
    Gear

Armor- Dark leather that allows maximum maneuverability in exchange for the protection heavier armours give. She does have some light steel plates on her shoulders and over her shins, but that is all. The leather is more overlapping strips, rather than the one piece common to Skyrim. It is slightly thicker at the chest and upper back, offering more protection to the vital areas.

Weapons- A curved greatsword that she refers to as Moonfang as it is shaped like a crescent moon. Where she found it is unknown, and she keeps it a closely guarded secret, but she is extremely unwilling to part with it. For emergencies, she carries a dagger at the small of her back. She is a proficient hand to hand fighter, using her hands, claws and feet, if the situation calls for it.

As the blade is nearly four feet in length, it is too long to wear at her side, and nearly impossible for her to draw from her back, in an over the shoulder style. To counteract this, she has the sheathe on a strap, allowing her to carry the blade over her back when travelling, and unsling it and draw Moonfang, when it is time to fight.

    Known Spells- Minor destruction spells.

Misc. gear (clothing/jewellery/etc.)- An amulet in the shape of a crescent moon, inset with three sapphires, at the top, middle, and bottom. A satchel on her belt that carries a dozen or so septims, some supplies for the road, bandages, and a water skin.

Personality- Kaliir is often distant and cold to anyone she ends up working with. She has little interest in making friends or engaging in idle conversation. However what she hides behind a mask of sneers, insults, and sarcasm is a deep longing for connection and comfort, something she believes she will never have.

    Likes- Solitude, open spaces, gold

Dislikes- Crowds, crowded areas, talkative people.

Combat Preference- Her light armour would lead people to think that Kaliir is an assassin of some sort. While this isn't strictly untrue her unique fighting style and expert bladeswork means she can keep to the thick of a fight with the heaviest of warriors.

She combines footwork, swordsmanship, and athletics to avoid incoming strikes while delivery lethal blows with her greatsword. But wielding a two handed weapon while wearing light armour means she must always be moving and is extremely vulnerable to ranged fire, if they catch her in a narrow space or by surprise.

Background- An orphan at a young age, Kaliir learned quickly that her options were to adapt quickly or die. She spent most of her life on the streets of the Imperial City, scrounging what she could from the markets after the merchants were closing up for the day, and avoiding irritable guards.

That was, until a passing redguard bladesmaster took pity on her, and took her under his wing. The man was well into his forties, but still was one of the best swordsmen in the empire. He taught Kaliir how to move, how to swing a blade without over exerting herself, and the best way to score a kill on a heavily armoured enemy.

When he died of a wasting sickness, the khajiit, now a young woman, was once again alone. But now she had the skills to provide for herself, and used what she was taught, along with her own natural stealth, to become a feared assassin and skilled mercenary.

    Dialogue colour- This

    General Information
    Name:
    Zarr

    Age- 28

    Sex- Female

    Race- Khajiit

    Class- Rogue

    Sexuality- Heterosexual

    Marital Status- Widow

    Laterality- Ambidextrous

    Afflictions- None

    Religion- Kynareth

Appearance- Zarr is an athletically built khajiit female with very slight curves. She has dark grey fur that covers the upper half of her face, the back of her neck, and most of her back, including her tail. The lower half of her face is covered in cream coloured fur, that goes all the way down the front of her thorat, and covers her front.

Her eyes are a solid amber in colour. Her left side is heavily scarred, though new fur has grown in to hide them. Both of her ears have three small gold earrings. She is not very tall, (5'2") which works out in her favour, as she prefers to escape notice wherever possible.

    Gear

Armor- She wears dark leather armour that protects her from most slashing and light attacks. The armour is light enough to allow quick movement and more importantly, lets her move around without drawing attention. Since she lacks any kind of heavy armour or shield, she has to rely on stealth and speed to avoid the enemy.

Weapons- A pair of elven daggers, slightly longer than the standard version.

    Known Spells-None

Misc. gear (clothing/jewellery/etc.) A simple tunic of dark cloth and matching pants. Several belt pouches with coin, dried meat, baubles, and a gold wedding band.

Personality- Cautious is the best word to describe Zarr. She's learned all to well what the consequences of rash action are. However, she is prone to taking the occasional unguarded trinket, which can lead to trouble. Her relationship with Dren is unshakeable, and she will go wherever the younger man leads.

    Likes- Shiny things,gold, Dren, safety

Dislikes- Prison, lawmen, violence, stingy people, rain, cold.

Combat Preference- She sticks to the outskirts, darting in to hamstring an opponent or slash a throat. If cornered, she uses everything in her power to ensure she wins. Claws and fangs included.

Background- To be revealed in time. (I can and will message you, @Madrar if you insist on having one)

    Dialogue color(s)- Purple

Sounds good to me. Also, @Rafen and @Harkatti I'm excited for the relationship between Dren and Zarr to come to light, as well as their backstories being revealed. Don't feel obligated to send me anything. Unless there are going to be some huge twists that will change the situation in the story, then please give me a heads up.

    General Information
    Name:
    Argus Hjarsson

    Age- 32

    Sex- Male

    Race- Nord

Class- Warlock of the Pale Flame

    Sexuality- Heterosexual

    Marital Status- Single

Laterality- Right handed, but uses his left hand for casting spells.

Afflictions- Horrific nightmares, both from his past and something...else.

    Religion- It's...complicated.

Appearance- A tall, handsome nord, who was teased as a younger man for his good looks, opposed to his rougher friends. He has short dark hair, often slicked back. A neatly trimmed beard and moustache of the same colour covers his mouth and chin. He has high cheekbones and a thin brow and nose. His eyes are dark blue, like the depths of the sea. His face is unmarked by scars or tattoos, but he frequently wears a deep frown, discouraging conversation.

Argus' is well muscled, from years of wielding his axe, but he is not extremely muscled. He has many scars, some longer, some shorter, over his arms and chest. His right shoulder features the only indicator of his unnatural powers. A single eye, coloured an icy blue, pressed into the flesh of his left shoulder.
    Gear

Armor- Half plate armour that offers a good mix of maneuverability and defense. A breast plate made of steel covers his torso, while leather protects his arms and legs. Steel also covers his shoulders, shins and back.

Weapons- A bearded axe, the shaft wrapped with leather, and made to wielded with one hand.

Known Spells- All of Argus' spells are granted by what he has dubbed 'Watcher' and center around cold and damage.

Hexbolt (novice)- A bolt of magic, easy enough to cast)

Winters' Grasp (Apprentice)- Freezing an opponent solid, for a certain amount of time. Limited in uses.

The Pale Flame (Adept)- Argus has the choice of setting an opponent on fire, a flame that burns white and is icy cold to the touch. Alternatively, he can ignite the blade of his weapon in the same flame. He can only do this once per day, and can't cast any spells afterwards.

Do please let me know if any of this seems super overpowered and I'll remove/modify as necessary.

Misc. gear (clothing/jewellery/etc.)- A worn, grey hooded traveling cloak. Rations, a coinpurse, several gemstones.

Personality- Though initially Argus can come across as serious if not outright grim, he is a charming individual when needed, and gets along well with others. He dislikes thieves and rogues, but respects their abilities. He believes strongly in following the laws of the land and will do his best to abide by them, so long as they do not conflict with the needs of his companions. He is compassionate, and is disgusted by both tyranny and racism.

    Likes- Knowledge, adventure, good company

Dislikes- Prying people, racists, confined spaces.

Combat Preference- Argus is equally skilled at close and ranged, magical combat. However, his lack of a shield means he's an easy target for archers. He prefers to open combat with a hurled spell, and close the distance with his axe. If all else fails, he can throw a good punch, but if he finds himself fighting barehanded, something has gone wrong somewhere.

Background- Born in the city of Windhelm to a minor thane, Argus had something of a...pampered upbringing. He also took a keen interest in reading and history, much to his fathers' chagrin. As he grew older, he became known for his handsome appearance, and also a lack of interest in the typical nord pursuits of drinking and fighting. This garnered much teasing, and lead to quite a few fights. He was enraged by the behaviour of his fellow nords towards the dunmer of the grey quarter, and took to spending much of his time among dark elves, rather than his own family.

His father, being one of the greatest advocates for ousting the dark elves, was enraged. He disowned Argus and conspired with the city guard to have him chased from the city. With no coins to his name, Argus quickly became adept at searching the ancient barrows and caves of his homeland. He gained enough coin to buy armour and a weapon, but was not a very gifted fighter.

On one cold and blizzarding day, Argus sought shelter inside a cave somewhere in the Pale. But like most caves, this one was not uninhabited. A frost troll, hungry and angered by the intruder, rushed towards Argus. The young nord, spotted an underground pool below a narrow ledge. Knowing he was no match for a troll, he dived off the ledge, avoiding its' sharp claws. As soon as he hit the water, he knew he had sealed his fate.

Dragged down by his nordic armour, with the icy cold water stealing the strength from his limbs, he sank, and began to drown. In his last moments of consciousness, he heard a voice. A voice that offered him life, in exchange for service. Desperate, Argus agreed, and awoke an undeterminable amount of time later, on the shore of the sea of ghosts. Only dressed in a soaked tunic and pants, he was discovered by a passing khajiiti caravan and brought to Dawnstar.

It was there that he discovered the 'brand' on his shoulder. He once again took to adventuring, discovering that his patron, the one that had saved him from certain death, had also bestowed strange arcane powers upon him. He spent some time honing his skill in battle, using his new powers to complement his skill with the blade. It was only after the events of the civil war that he learned of the disappearances throughout Skyrim and the call for mercenaries to Dragonsbridge. Seeing an opportunity and driven by a desire that might not be entirely his own, Argus heads to Dragonsbridge.

    Dialogue color(s)-Yellow.

I just realized that Zarr has almost the exact fur colour scheme as Kaliir. I'll change it after work today.

    Name: Lorkas the Wanderer

    Age-
    42

    Sex-
    Male

    Race-
    Nord

    Class-
    Mage/Explorer

    Sexuality-
    Heterosexual

    Marital Status-
    Single

    Laterality-
    Right Handed

    Afflictions-
    None

    Religion-
Doesn't pray to any of the Aedra or Daedra

    Appearance-
Lorkas stands at 6'5" and is quite fit from his years adventuring throughout Tamriel. His face is long and square jawed, with high cheek bones and a slightly hooked nose. His deep set blue eyes are framed by thick brows and give him a curiously grumpy expression. His jaw is covered by a thick beard about an inch and a half long which he keeps neatly trimmed when at all possible. His light brown hair is about shoulder length.

    Gear

    Armor-
Lorkas wears travel robes similar in design to standard mage robes but custom made to better suit his needs. Instead of the traditional pale green he opted for forest green robes with a dark brown leather mantle and hood lined with grey fur. On his forearms he wears leather bracers and a pair of matching gloves. He also wears a pair of tall leather boots and a tough, worn canvas satchel hanging from his right shoulder down to his left hip which contains most of his valuables.

    Weapons-
While Lorkas uses magic almost exclusively for combat, he does carry a short sword and a small knife for if he becomes exhausted and for utility respectively. The sword stays in a scabbard slung across his back and the knife hangs from the right side of his belt. He also carries a strong oaken staff with a leather wrapped grip that is mainly used simply as an aid in traversing the environment but can be used as a weapon in a pinch.

    Known Spells-
Lorkas is quite adept in healing spells as well as destruction, being able to cast most flame, frost, and shock spells with ease as well as heal himself or others. He is also able to cast some magelight spells which have aided him immeasurably during his explorations of ancient ruins.

    Misc. gear (clothing/jewellery/etc.)
Lorkas wears a small sapphire amulet arund his neck that is enchanted to aid him in casting spells as well as a small number of septims. A water skin and wine skin also take some space in his satchel, along with a journal for recording his travels.

    Personality-
Lorkas is generally a rather agreeable person and is easy to talk to once a conversation has been struck. However he can be quiet in a crowd and tends to keep to himself unless spoken to directly. While most would consider him a loner, including himself, Lorkas enjoys a good drink with other friendly travelers.

    Likes-
Exploring the unknown, beer of (almost) all types, knowledge, travel

    Dislikes-
    Small mindedness, bandits

    Combat Preference-
Lorkas prefers, if at all possible, not to fight most people however if put into a corner he will quickly begin casting flame spells from range while healing himself or even his allies. If forced into close combat he will draw his short sword and proceed to cast what spells he can while defending himself with his sword.

    Background-
Lorkas grew up in the forests surrounding Falkreath exploring caves and ruins for many long days throughout his younger years. His family lived just outside the town and worked as lumberjacks, a profession which bored Lorkas immensely. One day while exploring, Lorkas encountered a small bandit camp. While spying on them from a distance, Lorkas discovered that they had a prisoner tied up near the back of their camp. deciding to take he risk, he snuck towards the small group once the cover of dusk had fallen.

This proved to be easier than he thought as the bandits had become quite drunk off mead and wine. Once he was close enough he cut the woman free and began to drag her away from the camp. After a few moments, the woman awoke. Startled, she pulled away from Lorkas. He quickly explained the situation and together they managed to sneak away into the forest.

In thanks for his help the woman, who he discovered was a mage, agreed to teach him some magic. While only a rudimentary teaching, this only served to accelerate Lorkas desire for more knowledge of the outside world. It wasn't long before he decided to strike out on his own. After a few years traveling throughout Skyrim, he found his way to the College of Winterhold where he drastically increased his arcane knowledge, discovering that he was in fact quite adept at magic.

After a few years studying he felt it was time to strike out again in search of new experiences. His desire for adventure and knowledge carried him across much of Skyrim, Cyrodiil, and beyond. Only after returning to his homeland did he hear discover the outcome of the civil war and the adventures of the Dragonborn. Before long he became aware of the strange disappearances plaguing his homeland and decided to try and help.

    Dialogue color(s)-
Orange if it isn't already taken

Sorry for taking so long. I'm a little out of practice:)

Nicely written character for someone who's out of practice, @ Andre Marek.

As for edits to my own character, I've shrunk her down a little to five feet, two inches, and changed up the colour of her fur and eyes.
